Thanks cooldude, eraser did the trick, used the background eraser with a low tolerance and it seemed to work out fairly well. Yea I need to start doing this on my computer and not my laptop, images look so much nicer on it and the color/brightness detail show up alot better so i dont notice things like that till later hehe.

@triagic7: Take the picture of sand was a good idea, I like it. Garra, and his shadow look good. Problems are, blending as you mentioned, and the red text. It's a little hard to read. Perhaps if you have the text a 1px stroke it would help, I'm unsure. As for blending, I would use the eraser at 30% opacity and slowly erase the right side of Gaara until it blended better.

A50: In your sig on page 102 is the text glowing? Or is it just the font that makes it look that way? How do you make the text glow like that if it is indeed glowing?

I wish we could have bigger sigs at theses forums. I know that it has been asked several times but I'm pretty sure that most people that use this forum and download anime have high speed interent and it wouldn't be a bother with bigger sigs. Oh well, more wishfull thinking on my part.

His text isn't glowing, but if you want to glow it, make text and add an outer glow in blending options. Then transfer to imageReady, and copy the first frame twice. In the middle frame change the outer glow size. Then right click the frame and select tween. The number of frames you tween change how fast it glow. Don't forget to add a tween from you last frame.

Edit: Fox Fire, The second sig looks really good. Perhaps the white on the text is too strong, but I like everything else.

Question! How did you extract that little strand of hair on the left side.

Using the extract tool is the best for hair, but I always go back in with the history brush and repair what it messed up. But for any other part of the render I generally use the lasso tool to create a mask. Then brush on the mask to fix any fine details. Hope that helps.

Just as an FYI... to eliminate or at least reduce artifacts/pixelation/etc when resizing .gif images, increase the max colors to max prior to the resize and then reduce them back down. you will find that they look MUCH better that way

@Fox Fire: Realy like the Byakua Kuchi sig even though I dislike him as a character. The firs one it took me a while to find the render, I think it blends in too well. I f hadn't seen fooly cooly I wouldn't have known what I was looking at. With that said I did like the style of it, so nice job.
Some new sigs for a member of the forums. The first two I couldn't decide on the text so I did two different one's. (not sure if either works as text isn't my strong suite) The second style I like but I wanted to make a sig with the style of the first two. It is simple but thought I would do it. If you need to, just upgrade your Photoshop to CS 2. That way, anything made below CS 2 will still be compatible with it so you don't have to worry about what Photoshop version they used to make those brushes (I think most of them are made by Photoshop). CS 2 is the latest one out so their won't be any brushes made above it (for now that is i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif).

Not at all. There are ways around that i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif. You can definetly find a Photoshop CS 2 torrent on any torrent website. I found it on
The Pirate Bay (did the search for ya). (http://thepiratebay.org/search.php?q=Adobe+Photoshop+CS+2) The torrent there also comes with a key generator so you should be set.

Download as many as you can there are some great brush packs out there. You should always download more and more brushes so your stuff doesnt start to look too repeptitive.
