Maybe his assistants and students can continue the story...

Has this happened in manga before? I know Brandon Sanderson finished The Wheel of Time since Robert Jordan had left an extensive blueprint on how to finish the series, not sure how many other precedents of a similar nature has there been before.

The only one I am aware of, in a fashion, is Itazura na Kiss. They finished the story in the anime version using the notes she had provided to her editors.

Wow, this is devastating news. Aortic dissection... sounds terrible. 54 is not old at all. RIP. :(

Bulma's VA died from aortic dissection too a while back.

Now Beserk joins Guin Saga on the Incomplete Great Fantasy list.

Berserk will return! Six chapters to finish the current arc, then a new arc begins.
