I wasn't that impressed with the movie. I definitely wouldn't say it was as good as the first one.
It was just such a mess. It seemed all over the place without any real substance. It's like it'd give you a bit of Tony Stark character development, then cut to explosions and that's the movie.
and the fact that they changed the actor for his military friend who uses the suit with him was so awkward.. I'd hate to be the person who watches both the Ironman movies for the first time back to back >.<
Yeah, Terrence Howard is his name. He's an arrogant and self-centered actor.
Wow, nice, Assertn. Did you know beforehand that there was gonna be a special visit by Robert Downey Jr. himself? Or was it a complete and total surprise? I also see from your pic that Mr. Jon Favreau is right beside him, too. That's pretty cool.
Not a bad movie, it was entertaining to say the least. Although the whole discovering a new element from the blueprints for a city turning into a new element and developing it in a matter of hours was a bit too much dues ex machina for me.
I read some negative reviews before seeing it....
Honestly, I liked it. I thought it was solid. Regarding the role change of Rhodey... Don Cheadle is the man, I think he's an awesome actor but it is a little weird to just change the actor who is playing one of your main roles... even if he did want more money. You know the movies's going to make a huge profit anyhow.
Mickey Rourke was great imo.
Saw it a few days ago and absolutely loved it. From a summer superhero action flick, its hard to expect more, and it delivered quite well on what it promised.
I should've checked in earlier to see if there was a post-credit scene though....i waited a bit, but once the song changed i walked out. Now im gonna have to rewatch it :p.
Btw, where was the Thor cameo? was it during the movie or in the post-credit scene? Cuz i recall seeing Cap's shield, and the avenger documents, but nothing about thor.

That's interesting. This article is saying that one of the scenes where Tony is meeting w\ Fury is taking place around the same time as the events of the Hulk movie. And that the Stark Cameo in the hulk movie actually took place at the same time as the end of Iron Man 2.
