It was an alright episode. It was really interesting to see the heart technique from the fairy guy. Would've been better if there was massive blood around the heart when he pulled it out (stupid censoring).

Secondly......once again the rasengan is downplayed.....
if it was kabuto, i wouldve understood him still being alive, since kabuto can heal himself as soon as he takes the blow (although i wouldve been TERRIBLY dissappointed to see kabuto fall for the same move twice), but some random ninja should not be able to survive it.
I'm not even going to start talking about how unrealistically inhuman this clan's particular jutsus are
Sasame's "charm" was retarded, they could have had Jiraiya save them, then again they are obviously saving him for something else probably next episode... Even then why not just attack "Kabuto's" arm and prevent him from killing him self... Meh

This ep was pretty creepy/icky...
As soon as this arc started into going to Orochimaru's lair its like I just wanted it to be called "Orochimaru's house of horrors!" cause thats definitly what it seems like.
Am I the only one who thought it would of been a really cool twist if Arashi was the body that Orochimaru took over? Instead of being some weird mutilated mutant creature thing from Oro's House of Horrors. IMHO it would of added some neat back story for the guy that Oro actually took over, unless the manga/anime is going to explain that later.
I mean, I figure they can't catch Orochimaru at this point of the arc, but it would of been nice for them to learn that about Arashi, instead of him being a crazy mutant thats willing to kill Sasame.
I remember with that guy who Orochimaru did take over, I thought there was a bit of a slight resemblance there between him and Arashi, and that guy did ask Orochimaru to leave his clan alone after that. It would of made sense if that was what we were seeing here. ....but no...we got another Oro creature feature.
Anyways, so far this arc is ok...I'm going to wait till its over before I fully judge whether it was bad or not.
I laughed when the trap door hit naruto on the head. As far as im concerned theres two types of Rasengan, Filler Rasengan which never kills anyone, and regular rasengan which only jiraiya can control the power of it. I was waiting for Team Gai to bust in and have neji cut the ropes with his chakra skills. Coulda been good if the bitch just died from rasengan. And a longer battle please if its JOUNIN vs genin, seriously wtf.
Well, that frickin zombie ripped his heart clean out of his chest to try to kill Naruto and FAILED. What kind of ninja can't properly dispose of himself?
Not a very good ep for the animation. The fight with Naruto's KAge Bunshin and Freak was shitty, no wait, hang on I just saved some money betting on the Spurs win. Well yeh the animation was garbage, all them just piling on, hardly any good camera angles. Too close too often. The animations looked jerky as hell to me.... Shoddyily made ep, which is a shame because it might have had potential.
But seriously. Next time if your damn heart is connected to them just get a damn blade and make it deep. I felt somewhat cheated by this ep in parts, just because i felt like it was a lazy production staff...
I largely agree with the above statement. I really want to know where that crazy PowerUpYourKnifeSasame!! charm came from and why it was SOO annoyingly in time to save the day when Sakura couldnt do anything for the 2nd time in the episode (cerca 100 times she's done it in the entire series) & like Assassin said, looks like next ep all she has to do is figure out how to get Naruto & that bitch out of some pyramid Reno-FF7 trap shit.Quote:

Sakura could have bit those strings apart if she was able to concentrate her chakra in her teeth sharp enough (what a girl fighting technique...) and pierce the thread with her own chakra, full of determination to save Naruto, like in next ep will take her over 5 agonizing minutes to muster, ala Neji. Wasn't she supposed to be good at focusing her chakra like that?
Oh wait, that was another character. Sakura is only good at sucking and crying alot.

I too would have liked for this to have been a back-story to Oro's new body, though this is an interesting RE twist.
Also, Jiraiya was there the whole fight, but he was too busy writing down more of his next novel, Come Come Paradise 13. He'll come in and save them all next week when Sakura tries then inevitably fails. Why until then? So Sakura can see she's not capable of getting Sasuke back now, so she has a reason to either angst more, or angst AND train hard.
I'm still waiting for Rock Lee to run in, save Sakura by opening 7 gates this time, and then get the girl of his dreams to fall for him.
But that's just me.
jiraiya was prolly just watching them act stupid, and being baffeld by the lightsaber kunai ( that was the first thing that came into my mind [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif[/img] lol ), cause his frog was still there, if he passed out or was killed, the frog would have dissapeared right?
ne way mildly entertaining ep, the trap hitting naruto on the head was the only really good part

Useless3? Well I disagree with you. While she may end up somehow saving the day next episode with some crappy angst filled drawn out decision to stand up and fight, she is still useless. She has always been more of a liability and burden than any sort of help. The stuff she does is almost all on basic rookie level, she has no great jutsus, no real offensive or defensive skills and fills up screen time... she's been draggin this show down forever.Quote:

She's almost as bad as Sasame. Not only could I care less about this girl's sob story, but she comes in the nick of time to save the day with some super-duper unexplainably powerful device that saves our hero once again. I don't know whats worse, useless characters that waste screen time and whom I couldn't care less about, or filler-bitches that are so convienent on their timing and saving the day but return to being a piece of trash right afterwards...
