Indeed a epic match it was, I thought we were gonna lose since our MF, Sion, and Nasus fed like no other. Cant believe I pulled off a baron steal. Luci's friend Nori Maki would always kill me =(.
Wtf kinda builds are some of those? Heimer with 3 AA's and a PD? Blitz with an AA? Sion going AD with Sheen and Atma's even though he has no health items and only 101 CS (His E passive is amazing with a lot of CS).
Like I said, my friends...are not good. xD

Ya I do, i go full AP on her since her Q now has a AP ratio.
I'd say Mordekaiser+Twitch on the same team > all D:..

Something like Kayle + Twitch or Janna Twitch would work better. Kayle could ult twitch and gives him extra time while Janna had a damage shield that give +50 AD along with ult that push the entire enemy team out.
That being said, Twitch really isn't that effective anymore. He has always been very easy to kill and proper warding pretty much shut him down completely. His only saving grace was the fact that it was possible for him to kill the entire enemy team with proper timing and positioning. The new changes to his ultimate pretty much put a stop to that, so he's kinda underwhelming now. If given a choice between range carries, i would honest prefer someone more solid like Ashe or Miss Fortune.

on top of that twitch *needs* mid, just like karthus

I'm really liking Caitlyn abilities description.
Q seems like a slower version of Ezreal skill shot that hits multiple targets. Depending on duration and amount of trap she can have up at once, W seems like it's great for warding and screwing the enemy team formation. E seems like a great escape with the slow + push back. Depending on the distance of the knock back, you might be able to use it as a way to catch up during chases.
I'm not sure sure how her R is going to work, but i'd imagine it's a long range hit at one target and other champs can get in between to take the damage for the target. Her passive sound amazing for last hitting and i can imagine top/bot Caitlyn just farming from the bushes.

Actually she's not that great when you play against capable opponents. She just seems so useless all the time... her skill shot's so easy to dodge and her ultimate can be seen coming a mile away - people can block it in their sleep.
Her overall design is fine. Her scaling is crap though and ult travel speed is too slow for something that can be interrupted. She hover right outside the range of being competitive and a minor buff with some small changes will pretty much fix that.

Omg annie is so fun. Just went 16/0 with her. Her burst is like anivia's cept much easier to pull off.
I've been trying out Garren - he seems pretty fun, but if he is supposed to be a tank he lacks some stun skill, but neverthless he is nice pusher. Probably I'll still stick to my KS-addin.

I've had team without hands last night. we were going in river with all of us, and then the enemy drops onto us from jungle - score was 0:0 by that time, no one was fed - and guess what? my team can't decide if they want to run or fight, i got nuked asap, my friend dies, and they go ONE by ONE to get themselves killed - nerfed Eve ksed everything..GG..

New patch screwed the game a lot i think, Doran's cost way too much right now - cost would've been ok if you could create something from them - no way to get a potion at start, and they said that was supposed to make game more aggressive and less tower hugging...
Mana regen at start is imbalanced for healers - Soraka could heal herself three times from nearly 0 to full hp, and still she had more than 60% of mana left after that(no mana regen items were on her) - and it was in short span of time.
Rune nerf is completely stupid idea - you've heard their explanation for it? because they give too big advantage compared to lv 1 summoners. Seriously - what lv 30 will get matched with lv 1?

No i'm not - base mana regen at lower levels is op.
The Doran's items gave too much stats for their cost. You can simply just stack any 3-4 Dorans for almost any match up until about level 13-14. Not that raising the cost by 40 is going to stop that. It'll simply change the way some people start their build since they can't get 3 stats + a potion anymore.
As far as Soraka goes, she's a character that's very powerful early game but become progressively less so by late game. Some characters are just designed that way. Caitlyn can easily shut down 2 champs in a lane from level 1-6, but she's almost a free kill by late game if not played correctly.
I know, but after this patch those traits are even more visible. Doran's item give a lot of stats - that's true - but you can't create anything out of them - it would've been better if they nerfed doran's without changing their cost.

Caitlyn normal attacks range is ridiculously high. Even in a duo lane i'm able to last hit and harass constantly while taking very little damage. The only one that really pose any danger for her early game is Blitzcrank and his grab can be easily dodge. It's normal that i can kill or force both the enemy champs to b at least twice by level 7-8 putting them 1-2 levels behind.

Game is buggy as hell for me lately, i start out fine then my char then he refuses to take any command.
I had that happened a few times. It has something to do with Riot server, but a simple reconnect will fix it.
If i log off then the client will claim that i`m not connected to the internet and i get a nice leave.
Hmmm, a reconnect usually solves any issue i have. If nothing else, maybe try reinstalling and see if that fixes it. Sometimes your files can get corrupted during patch and a clean install will fix it.
I tried that, no luck, i searched the forum and theres some more people having this issue, this is seriously pissing me off.

You can quote him and open the actual link to imageshack. That's a very interesting build for Irelia, i usually go for Triforce first.
i did that too, but i realized it takes a while to build, and the starks really helps you stay alive. if the game lasts longer i go for triforce.
Doesn't your burst suffer from lack of damage item early game? Irelia does fairly well vs squishies regardless, but during a matchup vs a tanky team i think building sheen first might be better.
It seems like a cool idea to try though. I consistently get 10+ kills with Irelia every game, but the downside is that i tend to die quite a bit.
On a side note:
I play regularly with a group of friends from school. We only do normal games for now, since i feel like we're not good enough yet to consistently win ranked games. If you guys ever get tired of solo queue, feel free to join us. We play after 9-10 PM central US time.

how do you guys find the new champ? i think his bombs are super annoying. he can harass all day with them, just like zilean.
I find that he harass really well with E > W > Q combo. There's too many uses for his saplings to list.
He's not very tanky though. He can't really take that much damage even if you build tank, he's definitely more of a support and requires another tank in the team to perform.
His ultimate is decent, the 20% damage reduction is definitely nice when combine with something like shen taunt or Alistar ult. The CD is very short (20 sec without CDR) so it can be use in every team fight. The downside is that the damage is pretty terrible since the bonus has a low cap and it's very easy to avoid since you can just stand right outside the circle. It combine wells with other AoE such as Galio or Amumu.
In team fights, he function a lot like Udyr and just constantly switch targets. His slam is on a 3.6 CD after 40% CDR and it's a nice interupt for dangerous stuff like Death Lotus and the blink can be use to save your squishies from carries that's going after them. He can cover escape routes with sapling and force enemies to run where you want them to.
I think he might just need a few base stats buff to make him more tanky and he'll be ok. Definitely one of the better champion that have been released recently.
I'm really enjoying, Jarvan IV (The King!). I literally just jumped straight into a ranked game with him, without even practising and testing him out first.
The opposition had a good team that countered my ultimate fairly well, so I had to be extra careful when using my ultimate.
I did pretty good, 20-10-9, but was a loss, unfortunately.
Also, I bought Loch Ness Cho'Gath, it looks fantastic. Hextech Anivia looks great as well.
i wanna buy jarvan, but im finding melee champs are really vulnerable to magic champs. hard to fight against nukers and it hinders your build alot.
I find that Jarvan is a bit mana hungry early game. You can run MR/level runes and get away with only building chalice/merc for MR. His flag also give him passive armor so if you end up laning against a physical/magic lane, you can probably just focus on building some MR early on. I'm playing him as a support tank so far and generally do well, but i think i'm going to switch to a more dps heavy role since giving kills to people in solo queue feels really pointless.

The downside is that not ALL skins are out in china so those have american artwork in my client.
i bought garen recently, and im really loving him. He doesnt have much damage output early game, and his build is rather expensive (warmogs and force of nature to start), but mid-late game he's epic. So hard to kill, and despite having minimum attack damage, his abilities do shit loads inherently.
I gotta tweak my build though for optimum performance. I think Warmog + FoN + Thornmail + + Frozen heart (for armor and CD) is a good start. Maybe sunfire, but recently i've found you dont particularly need it for anything other then farming faster. Then maybe Whisper and Ghostblade thrown in there for good measure.
I've tended to skip boots on a few occasions since you get a speed boost from FoN, but i'll switch boots of swiftness with for thornmail if there isn't too much physical damage on the other team.

Ya, I myself raged like last week and "quit" the game. Lasted like 4 days and ended up not only returning but also bought some riot points. FML. This game must have some sort of evil hold on me.
I stopped playing ranked awhile ago. I just play normals with friends now. My rating decayed from 1500 to 1400 after quite a while of not playing any ranked games.

Man, I totally understand the frustration you guys are having with ranked games. I am constantly getting matched with these terrible teammates, it's becoming too much.
Honestly, I don't know how these people even got to level 30. They must've played custom games a lot, carried plenty, using a friend's account, or possibly hacked accounts, I don't know. I'm tired of having to tell them to back, and all these other stuff, you should know these little things if you're playing ranked... No map awareness whatsoever.
I dropped from 1400 ELO down to 1100, due to the sheer incompetence of my teams...
During my last game, I literally went apeshit, and just berated two of the idiots on my team. One was apparently "drunk" (messing around, didn't care), one afk (because he didn't get his mid lane with Xin Zhao(...), when we had a Karthus.
Anyway, I think I'm taking an indefinite break from LoL for now, lol. I just purchased Rift, and setted up a subscription plan, back to my MMORPG's.
Seems like LoL is one of those games that will continually piss you off, regardless of how long you play or don't play. I just started playing again recently (after a 5 month break) and it's almost like I never left. Sure, there are new champions, and a lot of nerfs, but you run into the same stupid shit, with pugs. I could tell several stories just off three days worth of playing.
But anyways, that's not why I decided to post. When I originally saw this thread a few months ago, I ignored it since I wasn't playing, and didn't think I would start playing again. But I did. So now I'm posting for anyone that still plays to add me (summoner name Alhuin). I usually have a group of people I go with, but we rarely ever have 5. And I haven't touched ranked very much just because I hate pugging it. But I can play just about every champ with relative ease. Well... at least half of them. Haha.
Back to LoL after 2 month break, Karthus is still annoying as hell, but at least on EU servers people are way less skilled than they were two months ago. I'm usually playing as Ashe and rarely i can't get stats close to something like 15/7 or even less deaths - and if i have negative KD ratio i'm having a lot of assists ( stats from one of my latest games 7/7/30).
Brand as a champion is nothing special, his stun is easy to dodge, there are some better casters available. Rumble is interesting - but most players go berserk with him and feed too much. Most nocturne's that i've met were very skilled(one nearly took yi + nasus at lv 1 solo - they both left with 20-30hp)
Noc takes no skill, which is why he`s getting nerfed, again.
I`m looking for serious players to do 3`s ranked, i play as Ryze (know some Eve, Taric and Corki), anyone up for it?
I suppose i could start doing 3's ranked....havent tried it so far. I have to change champions though...my usual ones wont fly. Anyone with a flash type technique is op in 3s though cuz the lvl has so many damn walls.

I was on a 10 wins streak until i decided to play with random people today, worst decision ever.
2/10/3 Taric and 1/10/5 Urgot who fed a Noct. I don't think Noct his overpowered as much as his character design is really stupid. He's a bit like Karthus where if you know what you're doing it's almost guaranteed that you'll get a lot of kills. Vayne looks fun to play, even if her skills are rather plain. She sorta remind me of a MF who is better at escaping and has decent CC.

vayne is awesome once you get the hang of her. she's my fav main, and very very annoying when played right.
Talon is really nice, especially if you consider how big failure Skarner was. Nasus+Talon combo works wonders.
