While I can't say if new members have increased at a higher rate lately, I can say many more have bothered to give us an introduction. Still, it's not like they've stayed too long.

If we look at the last 2 months or so, 11 new members have made their mark here.

Of those, Pandice, Nadouku and Kleitan are still actively participating.

XraizzenX, silentmaiden and hikkifan17 haven't signed in for a month.

Lancelot, eisuke_2001, miki_crea, raskorli and My_Akuma_Killer haven't logged in since they said "Hi".

Yeah, used to watch AonE/Dattebayo's naruto back when it was startin to come out but after I moved and such lost touch with my friend I watched it with and forgot. Now I for some reason decided to get the first season of AMG and I LOVE IT! got the 2nd and the 2 part Tatakau Tsubasa ready to go(still on ep 18 of Season 1). Its really amazing what just setting aside a hour a day just to relax and watch some good shows can do for you mentally.

Trying to widen my horizons as well, Naruto Shippuden is pretty good to get back into, seen Bebop, Trigun, some Fullmetal Alch, Ghost in the Shell SAC, trying to find this "Berserk" everyone is likeing for my next go round.

Oh, and I plan on stickin for a while, no worries :D

I doubt gw is that considerate. Rather, what about two different accounts using the same IP? It can happen when siblings join, or when two people access it using the same University proxy.

This forum has very strict spoiler policies, so technically you don't need to worry about spoilers as long as you have watched the most recently released episode. With older series or if you haven't yet caught up with a currently airing series reading the thread would of course equal to an intellectual suicide.

Im behind on the most recent episodes on my anime so thats why I've been avoiding them. Instead of watching some different things I've decided to focus on one at a time now :p

Get a job where you can watch Bleach during down times. If you watch 2 a day, you can be done in less than a year. Or get your gf or friends into Bleach so you can make it a social event to sit down and watch some Bleach with beer and nachos.

This applies to you too, then. You are luckier than what you called most of us because you have lots of great and legendary shows unwatched. By browsing the recommendation or other threads in General Anime you will easily find many good titles.

I believe anime is one of those words yet on the fringe of Anglicisation, so there are still issues on whether to append an 's' for the plural form or retain the Japanese (which has no 's'). Always good to see friends of established members joining us here. You should be reassured to know that when I first joined this forum, I had only watched 3 anime series in my life. I'd never been a part of any online forum before, so I was even more new to it all then you are now. I'm Votkrath... and I like cheese... no but on a serious note I've decided to become a member here after some time of lurking because I'm really evil (or not). I'm a 17 year old guy from Sweden and been interested in Anime and specifically Manga since my early years in grade school. I'm mostly into action (and some darker) Anime such as Monster, Black Lagoon, Cowboy Bebop and Shadow Skill. And I'm also a big Studio Ghibli fan.

Hobbies? Collecting stamps... nah, nothing in particular, but I got a strong interest in web design and video editing.

My tastes are pretty broad, but I don't like anime that have boring characters overall (Persona Trinity), one extremely annoying character (Kurogane no Linebarrel), or a bit of the above plus really poor story (Rosario + Vampire S1).

Really broad? It should be, because it's got to be one heck of a badly done show to piss me off. :P

Oh, and I'm an Aussie. Can't wait for the autumn weather to hit.

^ i like animes that has great art and a unique story. I don't really have my favorites because IT'S REALLY HARD TO CHOOSE a couple of animes from a whole bunch.

i hate animes with art that doesn't suit my standard for example :hajime no ippo and initial d (though those are kinda old already and i sort of like their storyline.) while for the story plot, i hate too much cliche and cheesy approach(at most shoujo anime) and very shallow plot(those kinds that are very easy to predict.) because they get really boring.

by the way, i would like to agree to you that rosario + vampire s1 is kinda over the top but i like how it is drawn anyway, the characters are very good looking but the plot is somewhat boring and VERY predictable on my part.
