    He doesn't have it quite so easy in the manga as the anime has been making it appear. There's a considerable amount of material they skipped with Satsuki. She didn't like him very much for the majority of the volume she first appears in as a major character.

    They're skipping a lot of the development with MOST of the girls. It's kinda sad to see a great manga compressed so severely in its anime form.

    I was kinda excited when I heard there would be an anime of Ichigo, but after seeing how much they are skipping over and around, I don't think I'm going to watch it anymore. Now I'm hoping the series doesn't bring attention to the manga for licensing, because that would be a bigger loss than the anime.

    Anbu's just released Ep 1. I'm downloading it now, but if it's just another comedy anime with high school girls I'm going to delete it.

    Ichigo means Strawberry so its Straberry 100% in refernce to the kind of panties Manaka really likes on girls.

    Japanese have a weird obsession with girls panties, or it would seem so after watching several different anime and Asian movies. Just watched ep 5 and about peed myself, really funny stuff. "it hurts but they are so soft", lots of funnies in this one.

    haha yes...this is a nice diversion...just saw EP7 and looks like his indescisivness is starting to give him trouble...first KO.

    The OVA takes place during the middle of the series and is actually a mixture of several chapters of the manga from a varitey of chapters that are near the one that the plot of the OVA is based off of.

    My advice: Don't watch the OVA unless you've read the manga or don't care about what will probably happen at some point in the series.

    What I just said summarized: Eps 1 of the series is the beginning of the story, the OVA takes place in the middle of the series.

    And if this series interests you, read the manga instead, its a whole lot better.
