These two were very nice episodes. And it looks like the last two will be packed with good action.
The military vectors look far more menacing than the old ones. However, they might just be cannon fodder for the last battle. Time will tell.

Yeah. The kind of ending you could expect: epic and conclusive, happy and a bit sad at the same time. I have to say the effects went a bit overboard a few times, in my opinion, but on the other hand, that was only fitting for this series. Pretty good all in all.
I have to say I was a bit disappointed the military vectors were so lousy; everything they achived was one shot that shattered a piece of the bridge, or something. Even if it was totally predictable they wouldn't end up fulfilling their objective, I wouldn't have minded, if they had succeeded in at least putting up a bit of a fight before going down.
Yeah I forgot to mention the military vectors. That was extremely anti-climatic. When they shot Atlantis with those 3 big ass cannons, all that huge explosion did was shatter some rock. They then promptly got owned. I mean...wow, didn't see that one coming.
edit: And I just remembered how Apollo said he'll be back in another 12000 years. Why would that happen when there's nothing left to fight about? Everything has been resolved. Is it another reincarnation thing like in Xenogears?
Have not watched any episdoes of this series.... I'm just wondering if it's a worth dl and watching the whole series?
The first 10 or so episodes feel kinda slow and lame, but the story starts up around ep 13 or so and ending is pretty good.
Yeah. It was a good series altogether. There was a hefty amount of mythology embedded in this series, which made it feel a bit different. Of course mythology was already used in Evangelion, but this took it a bit further (call it good or bad, but in this series it was very essential and used rather wisely).
There were a couple of episodes, around 17-19 or so, that were really bad, but otherwise I have no complaints. Just don't stop watching when you reach those crappy episodes. The ending is way better like has been said.
This was a so-so series, and the ending was OK I guess...
I'm still wondering who Fudo was in the past life time... Did they ever say his name?
true ... i just loved this series because of the first intro
Just saw a torrent for some sort of special
http://ani-tsuzuki.net:6969/torrents...3b979e.torrent
Anyone has any clue to what it is?
I'll post what it is in a couple hours. Need to download it first, and try to find the time to watch.
For all you awesome people, it's just Phoenix. The numbers are just the amount of times people misspell it.
Alright, don't bother downloading the special...
It's the first episode subbed in some other language, and it seems like it's a parody... Don't waste your bw on it.
Don't know what this is, maybe an OVA...
New Sousei no Aquarion Project (2006-04-04 10:33:22)
A display at Tokyo Anime Fair 2006 had a picture of Mecha from Sousei no Aquarion and the words "2006 Autumn." No details about the project are currently available.
Hmm... Considering how Aquarion ended, it seems unlikely it could take place after the actual series. It couldn't anymore very well contain any mech battles or such. Maybe it will tell about the ancient first war (or was it a war, or just betrayal). That could be cool...
Or, maybe they'll meet X thousand of years again like promised... I hope it is a sequel, we got a lot of prequel material throughout the series in my opinion. If anything I hope we can learn more about Fudo.
