I'm gonna play the devil here and say that I hope Kisame wins this fight and kills at least one person from those four, and makes them retreat away to save thier puny asses...
of course, we all know it won't happen, since Kishimoto couldn't kill a 'good' charecter even if his career depended on it.
other than that, it seems that Kishimoto said "screw the foreshadowing, i'll just tell the readers everything' now all that's left is to see Sasuke killing itachi and Giant tail monster fighting against Nine Tailed naruto..

when i first saw that thing in the akatsuki cave, i immediately thought it looked like this summon on FF10.
256 was a cool chapter, i hope kakashi has something up his sleeve for itachi. btw did forums just come back?
or maybe during the 2½ year duration they already captured all but garra and naruto (now they just need naruto?)

yes they seem to be rushing it a bit... both parties are already pretty much inside the perminiter of akatsuki. This seems like its gonna be one of those "attack the base" thing with different lvls of enemies...which means it wont be so exciting after all??

YEAH forums are back up. Yes I've sadly missed not having a place to discuss the latest naruto chapters.
Is it just me or does it seem like poor kisame is getting his ass beaten down badly. I almost feel sorry for the guy. He didn't seem that special to begin with but then again maybe he was holding back. Can't wait to see more of the fight. Also what do you guys think will happen with the whole naruto's group vs. itachi. We have no idea how much they've all improved so for all we know they could send him packing.
Atasuki arc seems like it's really going to build up to the ultimate climax of the series. Wouldn't surprise me if the series ends after the atasuki arc finishes up. Unless kishimoto can plant some more future plot lines. Then again this arc isn't going to be over for a while. We still don't know what the fricking atsuki's objective is or why all of these high level ninja have decided to join up. We still need some back story for the other atkaski members plus more backstory for the seven other demons. Yesh 18 pages a week is not enough to get all the stuff we want to see.
Also what do you guys think will happen when the old woman meets up with Sasori. Think she'll give him cookies and he'll decide to go home and stop playing with such dangerous people?

I am really impressed with Naruto. He has improved a lot! And that wind attack Neji did. Truly kickass

things are getting sweeter and sweeter. the lead guy from the akatsuki with the round eyes, his shadow looks like the fourth. pretty interesting.
Grrrrr I want some more back story about the other atsuki members. One thing I can't wait to see is the confrontation between Sasori and his grandmother.

As for Kisame it is way to early in the figth to tell was going to happend but I like that it actually looks like they are going to do a 4 vs1 figth insted of you usual 1 on 1.
Itachi is defenetly is going to kick Team 7's ass since he seems to be the main bad guy right now and it just wouldn't go well if someone other than sasuke kill him.
Ok one more thing what ever happen to that guy that helped Sasori and Deidara invade the sand village. I think we will see him in the non to distanat future.
