the first version of kimimaro's seal is more accurate to the manga.....my guess is the animators were just being lazy
SeifeR, actually there wasnt much more gore in kimimaro's appearance after the desert funeral.....just more blood everywhere

It has nothing to do with being lazy. It's call censorship. Besides, I don't think he bled all that much in the manga either.

Anyway here's the thing i don't get... is kimimaru as old as haku or what?? In the flashback they seem the same age. I thought naruto and haku were sort of the same age, but now kimimaru looks like a grown up..

Haku was older than Naruto. He was not around the same age.
I don't find it too hard to believe that Kimimaro is only a couple years older than naruto.
Naruto's 12 isn't he? maybe 13 or so, I dunno. But Kimimaro still looks like he could be in his late teens. So it's not that weird.

the part where the avalanche of sand reaches out, grabs kimimaro, throws him into another mound of sand, and then buries him......it looks pretty goofy
if im not mistaken, haku is like 4 or so years older than naruto

The animation for the other 19 minute of the episode was good [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img] especially Kimi's initial dodges from gaara's attacks. And damn, nice to see Zabuza again.

This episode wasn't that bad, to tell you the truth, I liked the animation for the Chunin Exam. The part where Sasuke first meets Orochimaru in the Forest of Death?
and also the fight between Lee and Gaara. Oh also when Naruto turn kyubified when fighthing Haku. THose were basically the only episodes that had good animation..
what do you guys think?
Could the reason the blood stopped flowing be that he can control the skin growth and bone growth or on top of the it would look even dummer to see blood streaming into his mouth as he spoke causing his speech to slur and him to spit out all the lovely stuff.. yeah. carried away anywhoo.. Great episode [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img] only flashbacks that I have actually liked in the series (maybe the earlier Haku ones)..
