The Simpson was one of my favorite show, i even recorded every episodes, but now most of the new episodes is just stupid rather than funny. Now, i just watch old simpson from which i recorded, its still funny as hell compare to the new one. Right now, my favornite show is the family guy. I just can't believe Famil Guy is rated #5.
The only cartoons I watch nowadays are from anime. Also didn't watch many cartoons when I was little, so I guess I can't have much of a say in this. Simpsons had its moments, but died down too quickly for me.

Yeah I would go: Simpsons, Family Guy, Looney Tunes (30s and 40s), South Park, Futurama, Disney (old school Mickey Mouse and shit from 40s and 50s)
Simpsons just because it set a new standard really and is very influential even though it really has sucked the past few years.
They forgot to put darkwing duck on that list. An unforgiveable oversight. And Gargoyles! How could they?! Considering much of the bullshit on that list, there was plenty of room for those two shows. I mean come on, pokemon? Ivor the engine!? Huckleberry Hound?!? Remove all the nonsense from this list and you could probably fit My Little Pony and Carebears onto this list. And why the hell is transformers so far from #1? This list is gay.

Yesh I really don't understand why so many people love futurama. It had a few shining moments but generally it sucked because the characters sucked.
Fry was NEVER funny no matter how hard the writers tried they didn't do anything funny with him.
Lela was a strong female lead, which also made her completly humorless.
Bender was an inferior version of homer.
The rest of the cast really arn't worth mentioning because they got little to no screen time.
I also agree that south park sucked at first but it's been getting really good in the past few seasons. Seems to be getting better with age as the series is using less swearing and more social commentary.
Southpark is so cleverly made and written - it usually will have a subtle moral message in each episode that some people don't even pick up. I love finding out what Trey and Matt believe about an issue through the show, I guess it's a way for them to express their opinions about things.

I loved it, hell I watched Power Rangers when I was younger just because those stupid robots they used reminded me of the lions forming up into voltron.
