For some reason, I'm in a "Baroque Music" period...
It soothes me, I like it in background.

This shoutcast channel is quite nice:

I listened to that shoutcast radio station you posted the other day, as I also like to listen to classical music from time to time. Discovered today that it's a dutch station.

I'm into a lot of artists lately, particularly in the trip-hop area. One of them is the group Cyne (Cultivating Your New Experience) and I thought of posting them since they've worked with the late Nujabes. I must say these cats got some serious rhyming skills for their genre. Example:

    Cyne - Awakening

A buddy introduced me to Dr. Dog. I like "from" in particular: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MVMubOGxAVc

For God will not permit that we shall know what is to come... those who by some sorcery or by some dream might come to pierce the veil that lies so darkly over all that is before them may serve by just that vision to cause that God should wrench the world from its heading and set it upon another course altogether and then where stands the sorcerer? Where the dreamer and his dream?

I like it. Reminds me of Modest Mouse.

The Beatles influence is blatant, but it works.

All the titles I give, I have seen on a TV channel aimed at geeks and/or people interrested in Japan culture or pop culture, or some parts of it. The channel is called Nolife

    A little bit of J-core
    Die!Die!Color!!! Grateful Paradise
Don't pay attention to video quality.

I'm currently listening to Mirai Bowl. It's the ED theme to the Dragon Crisis! anime and it's performed by Momoiro Clover.

I have Sonic Youth - Daydream Nation playing now. Math rock + 2-4 noisy dueling guitars + good rhythm section = win

Just to tone it down a couple notches (), my girl discovered a sweedish electronica/neo-soul band called Little Dragon. Consists of male keyboard, drum and bass players with a female Japanese/American-Swedish vocalist. She found them featuring on two songs from Gorillaz's Plastic Beach album. Here's two of their own:

    (album version sounds better )

This is basically my perfect band setup and just like one that I'd like to be involved in myself. Stripped down bass, drums, keys, and an Imogen Heap/Erikya Badhu female singer. Brb putting an ad on Craigslist.

I heard Little Dragon on Plastic Beach as well but never thought to seek out their original stuff. Love so much.

Ellie Goulding - Lights (Bassnectar Remix)

Please tell me why I should listen to this. Not 8 paragraphs worth, but something to show you're not just treating this post like a +1 to your post count.

    - XanBcoo

Per Xan's request, you should listen to it because Ellie Goulding is an awesome british singer on her own. Her Lights song is very catchy sounding, and this is a fantastic uplifting energetic remix to it that I could listen to over and over for long periods straight. It falls under the Dubstep style of dance music.

I have been listening to quite a bit big beat, electronica and house. (Tons of Junkie XL, Daft Punk, etc.). I kind of wand to hit up a house/techno club sometime in the near future.

The Prodigy FTW!!! I've watched their perfomance at the Milton Keynes Bowl from july 2010 in full HD at the cinema, peeps were raving their heads off!

Meanwhile I've been listening to Hiroki Mizukami - Rainy Forest for my jazz fix and to Incise for J-Dilla influenced cuts:

    So Beautiful

    Nothing To Do

The sound is just so grand!

Also lately I've been captured by Little Dragon's Twice. This song is addictive and makes you think, ALOT.

I have been listening to this Warren G vs. K-On!! vs. Clannad mashup quite a bit lately. NO, Thank You!!, meshes surprisingly well with the Regulate beat.
