3 Days Awake
I like the german original-version more (here), because the lyrics sound better and funnier :P
btw don't let this thread die, it is always good to get to know new music.

First part of that video reminded me of Technologic by Daft Punk. Only a little less creepy.Originally Posted by KrayZ33
There do seem to be some Kraftwerk influences in the actual music itself, though. Good background music.

Weezer - Say it Ain't So.
Ever since playing it on Rock Band (go drums), I've been absolutely addicted to this song.

SOUL'd OUT - イルカ (Dolphin)
Mellow song that I like to listen to. Probably has the weirdest PV I ever seen.

I'm listening to the new Metallica album, Death Magnetic. I'm pleasantly surprised by it.
"They call it 'The American Dream' because you have to be asleep to believe it" - George Carlin
One of my favorite songs of all time, even after all these years.

Ahhh I remember Katatonia. It has been so long though.

Everywhere I look I'm getting that the new Metallica record....doesn't...suck...
So I figure, you know, they DID make five of the greatest records known to man, so I ought to check it out.
I'm blown the fuck away by the fact that...it doesn't....suck. I'm going to have to listen to it a few more times to figure where I rank this record since my tastes have modified a bit since I last enjoyed a new Metallica album but uh...a first listen through has me not believing what I'm hearing.
Listening to Death Magnetic btw.
I know I'm kind of late to the bandwagon, but I've really been hit by Halo 3's Never Forget theme. Especially this mix.

You know the important distinction between Batman and me? Batman is fictional. In real life, there isn't always an alternative.
Project Pitchfork - Time Killer (And One Remix)
image fail!
Joni Mitchell - River
Hauntingly beautiful or crushingly depressing? Either way it's a Christmas track and I think it's great.
Still, the bit at and just after 1:20 makes me tear up. I really don't need to be listening to this right now...

“For God will not permit that we shall know what is to come... those who by some sorcery or by some dream might come to pierce the veil that lies so darkly over all that is before them may serve by just that vision to cause that God should wrench the world from its heading and set it upon another course altogether and then where stands the sorcerer? Where the dreamer and his dream?”
Joni Mitchell actually did a lot of work with one of the most creative and techincally masterful bass players, Jaco Pastorius.Originally Posted by Animeniax

Holy Jesus I wish I could Funk like that.
That song you posted gives me a weird country vibe. Just imagining him with a Southern accent while singing makes me laugh. Doesn't mean it's not good, just seems oddly fitting.
