Id say Arch Enemy. When Angela Gossow just scream just made a puny metal noob (me) horny.
Or not..
Atleast I like their music and has also seen them live on The Black Crusade. The bands were Trivium (so-so), DragonForce (maah...), Shadows Fall (=D!) and Arch Enemy (<3).
I'd say they put up a very nice show but she may overacting many times...
And the Lead Guitarrist is almost the ugliest readheaded badass player ever seen.

I didn't know that Zooey Deschanel actually wrote music, but then I found her band's myspace. So I've been listening to that for the last hour. I really like these songs, or at least her voice. And I think that first song was on a Mac commercial or something?
If anyone can't remember who Zooey Deschanel is, she was the blonde girl who Will Ferrel fell in love with in Elf. She's got such a rich, jazzy voice. I think I'm in love.

I'm into Oldies these days. Just one of a few I'm in love with now.
Vincent (Starry, Starry Night)
Vincent (Starry, Starry Night)
(D. McClean)
Starry, starry night
Paint your palette blue and gray
Look out on a summer's day
With eyes that know the darkness in my soul
Shadows on the hills
Sketch the trees and the daffodils
Catch the breeze and the winter chills
In colors on the snowy linen land
Now I understand
What you tried to say to me
How you suffered for your sanity
How you tried to set them free
They would not listen they did not how
Perhaps they'll listen now
Starry, starry night
Flaming flowers that brightly blaze
Swirling clouds in violet haze
Reflect in Vincent's eyes of china blue
Colors changing hue
Morning fields of amber grain
Weathered faces lined in pain
Are soothed beneath the artist's loving hand
For they could not love you
But still your love was true
And when no hope was left inside
On that starry, starry night
You took your life as lovers often do
But I could have told you Vincent
This world was never meant for one as
beautiful as you
Starry, starry night
Portraits hung in empty halls
Frameless heads on nameless walls
With eyes that watch the world and can't forget
Like the strangers that you've met
The ragged men in ragged clothes
The silver thorn of bloody rose
Lie crushed and broken on the virgin snow,br>
Now I think I know
What you tried to say to me
How you suffered for your sanity
How you tried to set them free
They did not listen they're not listening still
Perhaps they never will

Wow I'd never expect another Ultraman fan here.....
I've got the new single for the upcoming movie but haven't started listening yet.
"Our hearts are full of memories but not all of them reflect the truth. The heart isn't a recording device. Even important memories change with time. They warp or fade, leaving us with but a shadow of what we hoped to remember." 天の道を行き、全てを司る。これは僕の世界。

I just love the TTF series. It comes out one every quarter. Really nice to have in the background when you surf the web or gaming.
The living End - White Noise.
I've been having a streak of bad luck with music lately. and it turns out that this album is pretty awesome.

Currently Watching: probably a show directed at 9 years old girls, lets be honest.
You know the important distinction between Batman and me? Batman is fictional. In real life, there isn't always an alternative.
I've been listening to and getting into Elbow, who do the song "Grounds for Divorce" on the Burn After Reading trailer.
Grounds for Divorce - live
And hey! They covered Massive Attack's "Teardrop" (the House theme song). It's pretty great:

I'm really liking these guys. I need a new band to get into that isn't 40 years old. Both Elbow and My Morning Jacket are champing for my new current favorites. Elbow especially has a kind of Radiohead feel, in my opinion.

they arn't bad... but I think the original from Massive Attack is a lot better, the woman has a more fitting voice for such a song and I love how she sings. "Black flowers blo-ossom, Teardrop on the fi-e-r"
I'm missing that somehow in the cover ^^ but It's still a good cover.
I was just listening to 2 80s(?) song earlier
one was True Faith and the other one was Make me Smile

I like the german original-version more (here), because the lyrics sound better and funnier :P
btw don't let this thread die, it is always good to get to know new music.

First part of that video reminded me of Technologic by Daft Punk. Only a little less creepy.Originally Posted by KrayZ33
There do seem to be some Kraftwerk influences in the actual music itself, though. Good background music.

Weezer - Say it Ain't So.
Ever since playing it on Rock Band (go drums), I've been absolutely addicted to this song.
Now 99% disease free!
SOUL'd OUT - イルカ (Dolphin)
Mellow song that I like to listen to. Probably has the weirdest PV I ever seen.

I'm listening to the new Metallica album, Death Magnetic. I'm pleasantly surprised by it.

Metallica - Death Magnetic album
Katatonia - every album

Ahhh I remember Katatonia. It has been so long though.

Everywhere I look I'm getting that the new Metallica record....doesn't...suck...
So I figure, you know, they DID make five of the greatest records known to man, so I ought to check it out.
I'm blown the fuck away by the fact that...it doesn't....suck. I'm going to have to listen to it a few more times to figure where I rank this record since my tastes have modified a bit since I last enjoyed a new Metallica album but uh...a first listen through has me not believing what I'm hearing.
Listening to Death Magnetic btw.
