yeah, the sound genins had the chick Kin.... they let her die. Haku died (shutup) and the anbu chick.
and I don't think gaara's mom and aunt (shutup) count.
Haku was a guy. So in truth it was Gaara's mother/aunt who died first. But no one cared about her. This is the first true fight involving a female that actually died in battle that people are supposed to care about.

When was an Anbu chick ever in danger of being killed? The only one I can remember is the purple haired one and she was never in danger.

Everything looked better in the manga. Kimimaro vs Naruto fight looks retarded because the animator can't have very kage bunshin running in to fight. The anime is just butchering Kimimaro.
