If every one is worried about the fucking translation make a petition about that and send it viz telling them not to change the names cuz they suck ass. I think we'll esaly get enough signatures to prove a point to them not to change the names, or we could mass e-mail ShoPro, Nice e-mails people. Death threats will not help.

Ignoring the show's televised run is a good way to make sure that good series don't get picked up.uh actually there is a difference between not watching dubs and planning on buying the DVD's mind you
I always ignore anime on tv, have no use for watching them unless I was dead bored.

Well, as long as AonE's sticking with it, we can stay up-to-date with the anime as it continues in Japan, and I for one (can't speak for everyone) will get bilingual DVD's from Shopro/Viz. I'd have prefered ADV over anyone else really. My only issue with Viz is their slow release schedule and tendancy to put only 3 episodes on a disc when the series os over 100 episodes long. Oh, and their name pronunciations on the dubs, insisting on tensing the middle sylable (i.e. inuYAsha, kaGOme, naRAku). i remember back when they pronounced the techniques in Japanese (Ranma)... But i don't usually bother with dubs anyway. And i think that if it does go to TV in the US, it's at least going to Adult Swim, like InuYahsa. I'd be happier if it went to like the Action Channel or somewhere they get away with having things uncut. I've been waiting for the series to get licenced though. I know i'm pretty much alone on that one. i like to have DVD quality picture and sound and such, and I can't really get that off a fansub. and Chinese Region ALL anime DVDs have really crappy subtitles. So a series getting licenced in the US is the only way to get that. i'm just glad it wasn't the evil demon gutter sluts at 4Kids that got their hands on it.

Actually since I've only been watching anime for little over a year (Naruto was what got me hooked on anime), I will now be able to witness the distruction they bring to series when they try and edit them extensively for American consumption.
OMG! brake out the air brush say goodbye to any sign of blood not to mention naruto stabin himself in the hand
