like knives said before drifiting is very impractical for real life. The fact that you have to buy tires every time you wanna drift is overfill on a wallet. Also drifting is just not meant for a car, the chassis just wont be able to handle it after a while.

They're working on a sub. Asking a million times will not get it to come out any faster.
Secondly, I thought I should clear up a point about drifting:
Yes, it is possible. Can you do it in just any car? No.
Drifting is only meant for cars with rear-wheel drive trains. It is possible to do it in a 4 wheel drive car such as a Lan Evo, but this is because the majority of the car's power, while distributed to all four wheels, is still most powerful in the rear two wheels.
Most new(er) American cars are front wheel drive or four wheel drive, with the notable exception of the Ford Mustang. This requires a different driving strategy. Remember the way Shingo drove his modified Honda Civic by pulling up the E-brake? This skidded the back wheels, while the power remained in the front wheels (Civics are FrontWD), allowing the car to corner faster.
If you watch, there's actually an ongoing debate discussed in Intial D about the benefits of front wheel vs. rear wheel drive. In the series, front wheel drive is referred to as FF while rear wheel is FR. Takumi benefits from having a rear wheel drive car in the downhill, because it eases the load on his front tires. Braking affects the front tires, and with a front wheel drive car the front wheels and tires do double the work, sustaining both the power and braking, whereas in a rearwheel drive car the front tires handle braking and the rear the acceleration.
if u really wanna drift and cant handle the possibilities of denting your "baby" buy a gas RC car and drift the hell out of that =)
drifting requires too much money in real life. The cost of tires,suspension,roll cage and many other things will leave you broke before you know it. Also i know for a fact that 4wheeldrive cars are VERY HARD to drift with and i doubt any american car out there right now(mustang aside) will be able to pull off a drift. Rear wheel just makes life so much easier.
