Indeed, Toshiya has become a little bitch, though he has always been one... I thought he was going to get over himself when the manager or whatever started insulting Goro and such.
Goro, awesome as always... So, he has new baby sister, and about a year has gone by since he entered Kaido. I wonder what he has really done to his fastball asides from making it faster, I'm sure he has some secret to it.
I was hoping he'd develop some great control but that's not obvious at the moment =T
Same, but I was actually thinking that it was part of his plot to confuse the opposing team... make them think he doesn't have any control, when he does indeed have control. Proof of it can be seen with the strikeout to the clean-up batter, and the pitch he threw when they showed bunt.
MNJ finished working on 51, but they say they'll release it when they're done with 52... hopefully soon.
Good to hear that they are working on it can't wait for it to finish off the season and then Major 3rd Season will be out sometime in December?

Well, I complained about Toshi being a whiny bitch but I guess I could cut him some slack with the whole betrayal thing. Being abandoned by your parents when you were young is traumatic enough to spill over to your baseball life...I guess
At any rate, yay for Goro... although I would have liked to see him develop control of his pitch during this season, I guess I'll have to wait until December to see that happening =P Too bad the manga isn't scanslated up to this part (at least, last I checked). I would be one of its most avid readers haha

Yeah, I really liked the last episode... And Goro was great taking over with his home-run. I knew something was missing since he used to be a powerful hitter when he was young, he kinda drifted away from it. Good to see him get his bat back.
Anyways, last I gathered Season 3 starts on January 6.

OMG season 3!!! i hope it will be release soon... well nobody can stop goro's pitches in kaido.. he's the strongest pitcher now.
I just hope Major doesnt lose any of the things that make it great. Well, since it seems that the manga is still going good in Japan, as long as they stick to it there should be no problem.
He was the strongest pitcher in season 2. But it would in fact be easy to stop his pitches, since he still isnt a mature enough player to maintain himself in perfect condition. Also, Goro technically gets better and faster as the game goes on, and is usually less dominating in the start. There will probably be also new teams introduced which are comprised of much better players and such, just to make the series have meaning and direction. (I personally dont like this idea though, since it wouldnt make sense since Kaido was supposed to be the best team)
It would probably be better if Goro just has to make up for a weak team like before, since that is when he really shines IMO.

My only problem with this suggestion is that it's been done in the Major storyline at least twice now. I'd appreciate if they can think of another avenue of storytelling. But otherwise, any showcase of Goro-ownage won't get too many complaints from me hahaOriginally Posted by shinta|hikari
Humm the French version is already out, so that usually means that the English version should not be that far behind. As far as the joint goes, Saizen is probably forcing more QC'ing so that releases will probably take a bit longer than before.
Season 3 looks really good. Ive seen up to ep 3 and it seems like Major has not lost its shine. Definitely worth the wait.

Season 3 sounds great i just finished season 2 after a break from Major and i must say that i timed it pretty well.
The only danger i can find in this scenario is that Goro will shine a little to much and maybe also his team mates if they start out worthless and grow at an insane speed.
I hope the drama and story is kept in the front seat this season to, if they make it more about the games than the struggle it will lose alot of it's edge.
I also would like to see the return of some characters. I think one of this shows main down points is the lack of strong characters, you got Goro and Sato from the begining and also Shimizu a little. Aside from those three we always run into new characters. I really disliked alot of the dream island characters actually, they all felt very weak somehow.
Don't get me wrong though i still enjoy the show alot. I love that Goro turned left handed. That's simply awesome.

It is my unfortunate duty to announce that our joint with Minor Ja Nai Fanubs for Major Season 3 is officially not off the table. We at Saizen wish them all the best with their efforts.
We are also open to and searching for a joint for this project as we have a lot of dedicated staff that really want to work on Major Season 3 still. Joint applicants should bring a translator and encoder to the table for joint discussions (a typesetter and editor would help too).
We are also looking for a translator for Major Season 3 in the event that there is no joint out there to be made. Hence, if you can translate Japanese to English and like Major as much as we do please send us an e-mail at saizen.recruits@gmail.com
