After watching Ookiku Furikabutte, Major just seems so... amateur?

Yeah, indeed. I've been feeling the same as of late. The games in Ookiku Furikabutte are so much better, and the drama might actually become better. There's a reason why Ookiku has been voted as the best baseball manga.

Ya, I was surprised to see missing lines of text in this episode.
I guess NEET just wants to be fast without accuracy. :/
Waiting for Minor Ja Nai or Saizen to sub, is like waiting for hell to freeze over.
Slowness on purpose is just despicable. :/

Even though it's anime about a sports anime with many fictitious elements, Gyroballs, people with perfect 1.00 at bats? (Yeah, I'm looking at you Kusano and Toshiya), I can look past that, but it's really quite annoying when they start winning by silly things like rain and the fact that the pitcher isn't used to rain. Come on, he plays on Kaido how did he not train himself for rain?

Hopefully with 100% translated lines this time. It's time for Goro in SEED mode.

I really hate the dialogue in this anime sometimes. Like Sato is so hypocritical with the intentional walks and talks about how he'd do anything to win. Then he goes and says stuff about how they should challenge him.

Well his intention was to trick them into pitching to him and to get under the catcher's skin, so it's not really him being a hypocrite... just him playing mind games with Tashiro.

That's true, but it still kinda irks me when Sato talks like that.

You missed the link, haha.
Yeah, hopefully it's the end. It's dragging so much, and the stuff that happens is kinda ridiculous and a tad on the annoying side.
edit: removed link, to not seem redundant

Well it wasn't the end, looks like the game will be finished next episode or early last episode, which I doubt. They can't go too far into extra innings, Goro can't possibly pitch many more innigs.
The way I see it, either Goro loses on his first trip to the mound or it'll go for a couple of more innings. The reason being that I very much think that Goro will bat against Mayimura once again, but I don't see anyone getting on base against him so it'll be 3 innings before Goro has another chance to bat against him. We'll see.

I'm really disliking all the times Major uses all these "RUN HONDA!" battleshouts that miraculously allow someone to perform superhuman deeds, or the Father-pat on the shoulder that occurred in his imagination.

It's fine. I liked how the game ended, he "beating" Mayamura and then collapsing.
