well so far it hasnt been that funny compared to love hina... and hopefully the series wont be that long.. but at the same time long enough to fit all the characters... cuz if it does stay too long, its just going to be the same old jokes that was funny at first, but overdone in the future.

If oyu look at how Love Hina was done this is what I was expecting. Awamatsu's stuff is always butchered in some way but never fully sucks. thye just have their sucky moments.

this is getting to be a good series fully hooked like to see what happens with the bookstore girl but i expect its gonna be with the 2 eye color girl

yeap... episode 5 was a pretty cool episode... we got to see more of eva-chan and finally went back with the manga. lol... just funny cuz kama has a chocolate cigarette, instead of a real one, probably because it may influence kids? but yea... good episode

Great episode, weve finally seen eva and chachamaru. and it seems like its finally going with the manga.
to tell you the truth i'm not excited about this anime at all. i mean i love the freakin book, but it just doesn't seem right. it feels really weird, and you cannot compare it to love hina. love hina was an awesome anime and manga, i just think this was something akamatsu did to just pas time. i'm collecting the manga, and i'm goin to try to finish watchin the anime, but the anime is weird.

From my knowledge, this will be a 3 episode OVA that will cover chapter 176 to 183 of the manga.
This seem to be mostly a fan service thing for the manga reader because the Festival arc which took place right before these chapters was never animated.
The original Negima anime cover up to about chapter 53 (while also leaving out several important events and ended with an anime original ending).
It's quite a shame that negima never got a proper animation that follow the manga especially since the story really picks up after where the anime ended. The most recent chapters are quite excellent and in my opinion is preferable to more popular manga like naruto and bleach which have been garbage recently.
As for the episode itself, the animations are quite good and the sub is decent enough. The contents of the episode is nothing significant since it cover the aftermath of the festival arc and mostly consist of comedy.
I'm just hoping that this will somehow lead into a proper TV series for negima.
