The series is really predictable, therefore no excitement or anything from my part. Just going to watch it to the bitter end since i'm a gundam fan (OH GOD THE PAIN, the HORRID PAIN)
Personally I think you all complain too much. I will complain about some things, mostly just to counter someone elses complaint, but I gave up expecting things a long time ago. I just watch the show, enjoy the good parts, and block out the bad parts. Just because you didn't like it (and most people didn't like it) doesn't mean it was bad. It just didn't meet with your tastes. Just enjoy the parts you can, then don't spend money on the DVDs. That is the great thing about downloading it online is that it is free and if you don't like it, you never gave a cent to the person that made it. But if you do like it you can always buy the DVDs later to let them know you want more stuff like it.
