Now i noe the 4th OP's Kira in action scene is not Freedom firing its railguns,its reli SF,coz theres a scene in EP39 where SF did this.Cool pose!
Also for those of u who said Strike Rouge had to be repainted r else Neo wouldnt drive it(somebody posted earlier bout repainting Strike Rouge) watch EP39,Kira programmed it to change colours to da original Strike's.Strike Freedom is king!Now it's Infinite Justice n Akatsuki's turn to hog da limelight.

Second, I don't think this is confirmed, but I believe that Kira had been working on the Gundam O.S. in Heliopolis before the ZAFT attack. In the first episode of SEED remember that thing Tolle was dressed up in? It was sort of like a mini-MS. Since the Gundams were top secret Kira wasn't told what he was really doing, but that is what I believe. Having written the basic program to start with makes it easier to hack and rewrite.
curium: maybe point in changing color of PS is that you can use it as a camuflage paint. But it don't seem that anyone cares about camuflage in GS series.

i've watched the whole episode of GS, and now im following up with GSD, but i still dont know what makes coordinator and newtype different. can someone help me to make clear what is coordinator and what is new type?
@millenium new type is a new kind of human who naturaly knows how to pilot an ms and has special combat abilities, while coordinators had their genes alterd . like kira who is the ultimate coordinator. basically, zaft make babies with abilities they need. like soldiers etc.. i hope this helps

@ chris_xion in his first post on this page: no it is freedom that is behind kira in the opening song(when it is using it's railguns and kira is posing) because if u look carefully it shows those 2 guns hidden in freedom's wings

Yes really they are. I don't know how much gundam you watch but you might want to watch more UC. There are some big differences.
In UC newtypes could see and talk to ghosts, some could fry peoples minds and send you into a coma. Others could use their newtype abilities to help move a mobile suit or power it up in essence. While the principles of newtypes are the same between the UC and CE newtypes they are slightly different.
In Seed a newtype is someone with an enhanced spatial awareness. They can sense people or distances without seeing them. Almost forming a telepathic bond. They are have a better sense of their surroundings concerning attacking and defending against attacks. Their reaction times are also seem enhanced since they may have a form of precog. Newtypes in this era are very rare possibly disappearing.
UC newtypes were people who were thought to be the next evolution of mankind. People with precognition and those that had a better grasp of how to use machines. They developed the ability to communicate and sense things over great distances. Even using their mind they could mentally control weapons remotely using a device in a mobile suit. And then there are a few more as well.
Somewhere in these forums I believe we had this discussion before and did an indepth look throughout the series for the abilities. If you did you may find it.
