okay umm kira's father never wanted to make the ultimate pilot but ultimate coodinator though kira is one of the strongest pilots produced second to asuran the ultmate coodinator thing only helps him by allowing him to develope more skill at a faster rate than an average coodinator so somone who has seed and also been training for ten years can probbaly and mostly like will beat kira. and please dont say anything because i doubt ill respond to a rebuttle
My take on the whole Ultimate Coordinator business is this: Kira has the ability to activate SEED at any time he so desires. He no longer requires the emotional limiter. Arthun, Cagalli, Lacus, Shinn all need their emotions to be in high gear for it to work. Kira can just do it on a whim.
maybe so, but still Shinn is a different case.
He seems like capable of getting pissed off no matter what the time is. So i guess Kira looses the advantage of being the only person who can go into seed mode whenever he wants

in dont know about the 10 year thing....but talent means u learn faster than people, so wut takes 10 years ,maybe takes kira 1 year or even faster to master. threw time kira, the pilot gap would be even greater amoung the other pilots.

Most scientists agree that both genetics and environment have a substantial impact on the physical and mental developement of a person. You guys are looking at Kira'a genetic background, which would be good for him being a pilot, but thats not the only factor.
The fact is, he wasn't raised to be a pilot, so he is not optimally equiped, mentally or physically, for piloting. Someone with a military background (or a more physical one, maybe) might have a chance at being a better pilot than Kira.
Also, remember, humans are arrogant. Just because they claim Kira is perfect, doesn't necessarily mean he is.
Actually many scientist actually believe that mental development of a person actually is more a factor of genetics than environment*. The grades of Adpoted children were compared against the grades of their adpotive parents, and no correlation was found (that`s basically the gist of it...sorry i don`t want to go into crazy detail). Undoubtedly the fact that Dullindal himself called Kira the best pilot. Plus, and I hate to bring this up again, Kira is the ultimate coordinator. Meaning out of every coordinator ever created, no matter what happens, in the long run Kira will always be the best. BTW, Kira is perfect, that`s one of the main premises of the show. That`s why Rau was bugging him so much. He wanted Kira to get crazy and kill everyone. That`s why Dullindal ordered him shot down, because he knows that Kira is the ultimate weapon. He knows that if Kira gets crazy, no one can stop him.

Kira is the ultimate coordinator because they were able to modify his genes to the specifications of the perfect human being and have him born with no mistakes. The concept of being an Extended relates to the concept of being a coordinator. Only Humans hate coordinators but clearly a coordinator can defeat a regular human being in MS combat. Extended are just coordinators in another form, but clearly that process has not been perfected. Or has it? Maybe that`s what Ray represents, a perfect extended who knows???? That part of the story has yet to be determined...
But the fact of the matter is (call it what u want), perfect, ultimate it`s all the same thing. Kira is the best of the best, Rau said it...Dullindal acknowledge it. Now you`re just dealing in semantics, maybe u dislike Kira, or perhaps you didn`t watch GS, but he is the ultimate coordinator. Which means of the current population on Earth and in Plant Kira is the perfect version of every one of them...Shinn included. When people talk about being perfect, being the best, being able to do anything and everything and being number one...they`re talking about Kira.
wow this debate has gone so far off topic the orignal debate was if kira is the ultimate coodinator does that automaticaly make him the ultimate pilot but moving on. Asuran seed mode is well develope has anyone cared to mentioned how asuran when he first went into seed had a different anime sequence and then kira when he gets freedom has the same sequence and now shinn has a completely diffrent sequence, the point here is that seed clearly can make you a better pilot however its sorta wierd how it works and if has nothing to do with being the ulimate coodinator which in the first place was to genetically alter a child to one's liking without any influence from the mother's womb. so lastly talent aint got shit to do with this debate
@ fox_t extended pilots can be considered a coodinator in a diffrent form but the concept is to give them a drug wich increase brain activtiy and sharpen's the 5 senses where coodinators are just a newtype of human extended are just drastically altered human beings

no i do not personally dislike Kira, but i am just saying that there talk about Kira being all that he is is based on the knowledge that THEY have. And i do not presume that they have knowledge of everything in the world.
yes i kira is the most phyically gift coordinator, talent wise(multi task) good vision, touch feel, hearing, smell and all of those things, but mentally always depends on the person...there are times kira break down mentally....but other than all that, yes he is the most gifted coordinator
Kira is like Cloud. He`s not some freak accident, he`s the result of years of experimentation.
Countless coordinator babies born with mistake after mistake, him and Canard are the only ones who weren`t.
No i`m not a fanboy.
Everything he`s ever done in the show, he`s been better than everyone else.
1) First time out in a mobile suit he killed Rusty (trained soldier).
2) First time out in a mobile suit he reprogrammed the operating system to run better DURING a fight.
3) Reprogrammed the operating system in the desert. A feat that no one from the Klueze squad accomplished.
He may not be absolute perfect but he`s better than the rest. So from everyone elses perspective he`s perfect, and not everything has to be absolute, relativism accounts for many things as well.
hmm... SEED can make u a better pilot, i agree with that but that dusn mean that just coz u have the SEED u reign supreme over everyone else. After all, i consider Yzak to be a better pilot than Athrun, and he aint got no SEED.
Whats the whole deal with SEED anyway, isnt it the ability to see through things and know when to make a decision and make the right one. At least thats how Malchio defined it i think
