    Chouji Alive

    I just don't like the idea that most of the genins are so powerfull. Wasn't Chouji one of the weakest genins? I like that Chouji barely managed to beat him, but Neji had more trouble with the spider bitch than Chouji had with Jiroubu. Chouji deserved to win I guess since Jiroubu was the weakest of the four. But he should have died, the anime did this very very well. The part with him at the tree with the carvings in it was great, but he should have died. It's not that I don't like Chouji, I think he's a good character, it was his time to die and make the arc and the whole anime much better.

    chouji used those pills that made him insanely strong he is still one of the weakest genins. neji is one of the best so itso nly expected of him to win on his own i mean what does kiba have against a guy like neji, of course kiba needs help why was he in the mission in the first place? shino would have been the better choice.

    but shino was off on a mission with his dad at the time the genins were recruited, according to the anime, i cant remember what the manga said

    the manga said the same thing. anyways chouji is actually the strogest of the genins in terms of physical strength. but hes weak an all other areas. bascially jiroubou is the same way, pure strength nothing else. chouji and nejis are the only ones that i would expect to take him down single handedly. he would have had nothing against nejis jyuuken, and no other genin but chouji could challenge him in raw strength

    well i hope chouji devolops a little after this into a character that acutally can do cool stuff. he was awesome when he took jiroubou down i smiled when he stopped that punch and looked badass. that was the best part in the mission arc tied with rock lee's and gaara's comebacks

    I know Chouji living was a surprise to all of us, by why does someone dying make it a good/ bad anime? Personally, I think Chouji has formed into a pretty decent character and I can't wait to see his future.... no people like Ino...... she deserves to die, more worthless than Sakura (pre-Tsuande)

    When you know some of the charecters might diem in the mission, it creates tension and makes you 'worry' about them. When everybody stays alive even after being completly beaten, the next fights aren't as intersting, since you know they'll all make it out alive.

    The thing that really bothered me was the the fact the Chouji declared that he'll certainly die once he takes the red pill, and that 'death' was the only excuse he had for being so cool, and now that he's alive, it pretty much wasted that whole dramtic effect of the fight. Other than that, there was also the part with Lee, the 'long rehab period' tsunade talked about turned into less than a day, and he was able to run in those few hours from the village to Kimimaru, (consider that the surgery started only after the genins left), basically, lots of crap.
