RE: Appleseed (2004)

Can people please seed the 1.4gb file? It's going so slooooow, slower than dialup. Now that's bad.

Day 3: 68%. D/l hasn't spiked above 20k once. I started it back up at like 7am, I've gotten 300mb since then. I have uploaded like 1gb. This blows. I'm getting like 11kb/s on d/l and sending a good 30-35 on up. Ridiculous.

And stop showing screen caps, it's bad enough that this download teases me everytime I look at it and it moves slow, stop gloating that you've seen it. =b

Pretty nice movie. I had to wait about 30 minutes before the speed hit 70+.

RE: Appleseed (2004)

on suprnova, theres quite a few versions of appleseed there now
does anyone know if the one that says subbed on it really has the subs or do you have to add it in yourself?

imma download that one and check it out, to see if there are subs or not

i was downloading for about 3 hrs and it only got less then 10%, at an avg of 9kbs

RE: Appleseed (2004)

Heh, I had to redownload the first CD of it, since mine was corrupt. And today/tomorrow were the perfect days for me to watch them, since I'm off work until Friday. I can't figure out how to get vobsub to pop up on Core Media, anyone got the time to walk me through how to get it done?

is anybody else having problems with the audio on this? I downloaded the 2cd version btw, if it matters.
I cranked the volume up, but the characters talk so soft.

RE: Appleseed (2004)

What player are you using? Do you have AC3 filters installed?

Appleseed (2004)

I'm using BS Player.

I googled the AC3 filter, and downloaded it. Works great!
Thanks for the help, Nem

EDIT: Watched the movie last night, and WOW! What an awesome movie!
On a side note, this ripped from animenewsnetwork.com:
LA-based Axis Entertainment has teamed up with Micott & Bazara, the creators of Appleseed, to co-produce two Appleseed sequels. Planned is an Appleseed TV series and a possible live-action film.

I still need help getting the subtitles on this to collaborate into the actual picture. I've got Core Media, but I can't get Vobsub to run. It ran with matroska files, but my mkv's are all acting quirky on Core now. I've got Windows Media as well, if that'd be any easier. If it'd be even easier to get another player and run it through that, then fair enough. I've had the damn thing for like 4 days now and I want to understand it when I watch it. >;/

Was really good, a definetate recommend. I think I'll have to watch the original again (only seen the once, years ago...) to see how the story compares

Does this one already have the subs? I tried using the 2disk version and vlc was missing half the sentences and bsplayer doesnt work for me .

RE: Appleseed (2004)

OMG it's just not met for me to watch this movie, if the animeskyscraper version has subs my vlc and core player wont show them. I was thinking bout watching this my whole day while dealing with all the annoying late shoppers.
