Even in the end of the chase arc, where the Akatsuki suddenly appear in the cave, somebody mentions "That Orochimaru has gotttten a Sharingan..." THAT could have been Obito, since he makes such a fuss out of getting the Uchiha blood to kick in.

Everybody is jumping to the most obvious conclusion. Try to look past that, people.

I hope Obito is alive (leader of Aka or not). It would make Kishimoto an unpredictable writer again, which is good for a shounen manga.

The only part of that I see as having any chance of happening is depending on timing Orochimaru could be the one who kills Obito to try and get the sharingan. Also remember that when someone of a advanced bloodline is killed there body is to be completely destroyed in order to keep it away from other clans. So if Kakashi got Obito's eye the rest of the body would still have had to be destroyed. There is a slight chance obito's other eye is lost and that is why Kakashi only has one, but considering he is unable to control the sharingan its more likely Kakashi only has one so his chakra isn't completely drained unless he has on a blindfold at all times.

I wouldnt mind if Obito was alive cause that would be a suprise and thats a good thing since this manga is soo predictable right now.

If Obito were alive, which I highly doubt then him and Kakashi would def fight each other. These flashbacks are def gonna lead up to something Kakashi has to face in the present. Well not def but its possible.
