I got from ANIDB that 47 will be the last epoisde in this series but the manga is so long, the lastest release I think was chapter 129. I don't think 47 eposides are enough. Do you think that they work through with the manga or they going to cut a lot out?
That must be bs why end the anime so early when the manga is so long.

I have to catch up to the anime... started reading the manga and stopped watching the anime... last episode I saw was the one were he makes a bet with the little sister back in the Pantasia rookie tournament...
A litte qeustion about the manga is Kawachi as fun in the manga? does he say "Nanyate" as much.
i think so. i feel like the anime's been following the manga pretty closely... even all the puns are pretty much kept the same.
Yep, I agree... If you are worried about being dissapointed by the manga, don't be... the manga is just as good, maybe better...
I dont doubt that manga is better, i just wondered if Kawachi who is by far the funniest character is as fun in the manga.
the manga is definately funny, but i must say the voice actors did an amazing job on yakitate they sound great and the show is hilarious they have kept pretty true to the manga story line some added scenes but nothing of importance was left out, it's been a while since ep 32 was released give me my fix goddamit!!

I've just caught up to the lastest episode 43 (after stopping on 13)...
I think the anime has done a good job with the manga adaptation...
Two things that bothered me, I remember St. Pierre's owner pointing a gun to Rame just before he dissapeared...
And I also remember the manga hinting that he was banging Yukino...
Other than those two things, I found everything else presented very well...
I'm kinda dissapointed on those two things because they made the story that much darker, and it was a great contrast to the usual comedy pace that the story has...
I think it's kind of shitty to A-E to take on so many new projects when they're falling behind so much on Yakitate.

BTW, I really recommend the manga... It's just a tad darker and funnier, but that tad makes it that much better..

hmmm...i just watched the latest raw episode.....it appears that they animated the next arc(the whole gameshow+travelling around japan)...anyways...yakitate japan is ownage..

I'm actually kind of dissapointed that they changed around that scene...I thought the whole poison scenario was more powerful.
I also read somewhere that they were going to continue after the Monaco arc. That's good news [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img].
