I've watched a few eps of this, and I have to say I'm pretty disappointed. The manga is dumb, but still manages to be pretty amusing. The anime so far is just dumb. It just doesn't work. I don't know if it's the voice actors I don't like, or the changes they made which seem aimed at a younger audience, or if the story only works as a manga, but I just didn't like it. I'd still reccomend the manga as decent humor, but I'd skip the series.

It is one hell of a bread show! very funny and hilarious. I'm guessing it's a 26 episode series.

well, the anime isn't as good as the manga, but once we start the tournaments i'm sure the kuroyangi's and pierot's (I'm quite sure i've spelled both names wrong) reactions scenes will be greatly hilarious...
the problem is that the first chapters are based around kanji jocks and those don't go well in TV, but still, the first scene in the first episode is amazing, those two knights duking it out with bread rolls, i had to rewatch it over again to make sure i wasn't dreaming...
This anime is gonna be good, and probably 52 eps long (maybe more), filled with stupid reactions and scincetifical bread explenations...
oh, and i hope they make a filler episode of takihate Gohan or lord of the loqaut... those two are gonna rule...

I like this a lot ,the funniest show of the season. Morikaya is a favorit. The humor is great and i hope they keep up the jokes and not just talk about bread and solar hands.
anyone still watching this, it is a fun series so far... it might be a long one, i think 12 episodes have been subbed, and i think they are only at vol. 3 or so of the manga....
i'm still following this, it's funny as hell A-E is slow at subbing though, there are like 18 eps out already
The one hour speciel was great, im loving this show. The best comedy anime of the season with school rumble.

Is it possible for Azuma to lose? Because so far he has shitted on everybody thats faced him. Also, how the hell do you make a bread better than the bread that SENDS YOU TO HEAVEN? Why not just call the tournament off after that? Also: whats the deal with the afro(s)?
That ending with the 3D dancing guy has got to be one of the gayest thing I have ever seen/heard
So far, according to the manga, Azuma loses at least once, and there are still times to come.
a bread better than heaven is easy, it needs to send you somewhere further away from earth, like the space or something.
