Kisame hoshigaki there is just somethin about old shark face i can't help like.
I think the coolest side characters have to be Hyuuga Neji and Rock Lee, especially when he has had some sake. Gaara and the 5 Sound ninjas are also really sweet.
Shikamaru and Shino are both great, I like their fighting styles, the way they outwit the people they fight rather than try to out-brawn them.

It's gotta be Lee--he's got me rotfl every time he shows his face--and he's so incredibly lame yet so cool when he's fighting. No demons in his belly, no curse seals, no power pill popping, no inherited bloodline powers--yet he still kicks ass. Some of those other guys like Neji are too high on themselves. Although I must admit, Shika's use of brainpower to exploit his one-and-only trick in different ways is very cool as well.

Seriously though, Chouji and Hinata are among my favs, I don't know why, so don't ask (chouji will sit on you if you do ask). Haku is my all time favorite, seeing as how I used the name XD

Even though Hinata has never shown any real strength, I bet since the Chunnin exam she's gotten tired of being protected all the time by the stronger students and will train like crazy. Just my opinion though...[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]
I think I would like Lee better if he didn't have the dam-awful hair style but your right no pills no bloodline no nothing cept' skillz.
Itachi, Kakashi, Neji, Lee, Shika....alright I like too many people lol. But those are my favorite side characters.
ROCK LEE!!! I became a believer after seeing him tear up Gaara in the exam. If it wasn't for the gord, Gaara would have been dead.
