roduction work on a second "Naruto" (Masashi Kishimoto / Weekly Shonen Jump - Shuueisha) film has been announced. The announcement follows close on the heels of the first film, last August's "Naruto the Movie Daikatsugeki! Yuki-hime Ninpou-chou Dattebayo!!"

The second film will deal with the struggle between Naruto and Sasuke, who has been led astray by the wicked Orochimaru and turned his back on his home. "Naruto" fans can expect to see Sasuke's Mangekyou Sharingan-powered Chidori skill pitted against Naruto's Rasengan attack.

if any of this is real, it's gonna be such bullshit when sasuke's sharingan isn't the deciding factor in a chidori vs rasengan fight. if they are both going straight ahead into each other just like in the manga, sasuke's sharingan should easily see every movement and avoid it easily just like how he did to gaara's sand spikes. i hate how kishimoto keeps making sasuke go straight ahead without using his sharingan. and i'm not even sure what they mean by 'mangekyou sharingan-powered chidori.' since when was chidori powered by any sharingan ability?

However, even if it was a typo, does this mean the anime itself will skip a Sasuke/Naruto fight and leave it for a movie?

I don't think it's being shelved. If this announcement is true then I looks like the fight scene is getting the theatrical treatment. Man that would kick so much ass if the whole naruto vs sasuke fight becomes a theatrical event complete with big budget animation. Yeah finally seems like they got the message. Keep your fingers crossed guys.

no, it wouldn't kick so much ass cuz it'll be a LONG time before any of us (that doesn't live in japan) will ever see it. the first movie has been out for a while and we haven't even seen the video taped version of it. i doubt that we'll see naruto movie in this year.

yes i do thats why i said that he didnt kill naruto so he cant have it. dont you read it man?

orochimaru is to sneaky to die now he will probably have a major part in the akatsuki arc. i dont think he left simply because he was afraid of itachi. i kind of think he didnt like something about what they were going to use the kyuubi for or something like that.
