but my favorite quote from Gundam, possibly from any anime, is this very long (but incomplete) passage from a speech made by one of the least memorable main characters in Gundam franchise.

I'm sure the pale peptalks of fighting for peace have been repeated numerous times in the past. The colonies say they need armamants to maintain peace. It's no different from on Earth.
