Beet the Vandal buster Exillion is season 2 as far as I know. Its been being released for quite a while they are just WAY behind on subbing and of course every episode having 5 minutes of flashbacks slows progression quite a bit.

I like the show but we should simply be about twice as far into the plot as we have gotten.

Favorite Gotwoot Mod moment: "Why is everyone in that show black? The art and music are pretty good, and the voice acting is alrite as well......but i can't stand that guy who follows afro around. Hes so, well, black, for the lack of a better term (well thats not true, there is a better term, but i wont use it here)" Assassin

The poor series is going nowhere fast... That entire episode would have been fine a while back or if he met up with the beet warriors or well if it had anything to do with the plot but no another random filler.

For those who still care about this series:

Even though it's obviously nearing the end of S1, I still enjoy watching this series

Well we have 2 more episodes in S1 and its unlikely anything to important is about to take place. A group has started subbing Beat the Vandal Buster Exilion and as episode 1 just continues and is unintrusive to anything going on you might want to check it out now rather then later.

From the looks of it all we have left is some random filler for this season and maybe a fight or two.

Overall this episode was alright just once again basically uneventful filler to show some growth.

So, these episodes are indeed fillers? Or are you just calling them that because they are uneventful?

Well I can't say for certain as I haven't read the manga for this at all. I can state however that upon watching episode 1 of Exillion all of the current plotlines were still left unresolved to the best of my knowledge. So I'm just saying they are filler as well the last 3 episodes have been Milfa Falls for Kiss, Random Sled episode that has nothing to do with anything and no Beet and Kiss get stung by bee's and pee on each other while Milfa continues to fawn over Beet. None of these matter that much to me atleast the next episode preview just shows they will be fighting a random Vandal at a port town. We know they need to cross the ocean to get anywhere. As in 2 episodes not much can be done I would simply assume all we have left is kill this vandal and hop on a boat roll the credits.

I'm wondering, has Excellion already aired completely or is it still running?
This series gives me the idea that it's going to be a LONG set of series, especially since they introduced some sort of god at the end of 52.. and they still have Belltoze to defeat..

Well this series ends in all its mediocrity. The last few episodes were alright but essentially pointless. I mean even the fact they left the Dark Horizon already after only killing basically the main guy and about a dozen underling vandals. I guess Beets real goal is to kill all of the top vandals and call it a day and not really kill ALL of them atleast not any time soon.

Overall the series was decent but could have been 26 episodes instead of 52 if all they did was cut out all the recaps and flashback abuse. I'm hoping the next series is a bit faster episode 1 is all that I know of being subed and as I said we could have finished this series without the last 4 or 5 episodes even existing honestly. Still its not bad to kill time while most series flat out suck or are being subbed so sparatically its not even funny.

Illumitoon Lights Up With Beet the Vandel Buster (2006-07-12 03:00:27)
Illumitoon Entertainment Ltd., a new Forth Worth company founded by former Funimation executives, has acquired Beet the Vandel Buster and its sequel, Beet the Vandel Buster Excellion. Based on the Shonen Jump manga, Beet is the company's first announced title. From the press release: "Already Illumitoon has acquired some serious titles, and is looking forward to launching DVD releases as early as January 2007." Thanks, Dan.

Anime-Keep-AH doesn't consider Excellion to be licensed, so they're continuing it.

    Here's the first episode:

I just caught up to episode 5 of Excellion. I've thought that it has been pretty good thus far, especially the episode music. I like the melody that plays every time Bright Prime is being used. Also the Grunide look-alike, Grifas, is awesome. My only complaint is that Beet seems to be weaker than before for some wierd reason.

I noticed that too... how can someone that beat Grunide have so much trouble with a low-level vandel...just idiotic.
He's weak now so that Leon has a meaning...
I just hope that Leon will not follow them for the rest of the series.. he is só annoying..

He's annoying, but I think he'll turn out to be a cool character to have around...

Just like I hated Usopp for most of the series of One Piece.

    Episode 6 is out:
