In Ep. 35 when Naruto and Sakura tried to see what was in the scroll before Kabuto stopped them, Naruto mentioned how he had a poison techinque scroll. If he had that, why has he never used that????

it was prolly pretty hard for naruto to use scrolls at that time. Now he could use them better, but a poison scroll is sorta useless.... why poison a dude when you can ghetto stomp the mother fucker with a massive frog and eighty of your clones?
Also, this is assuming it was a skill... it was prolly just a scroll that showed him how to make/detect poisons.... which he would need because he prolly didn't remember how.
i'm quite sure that Naruto said he had a poison manual\guide, not an actuall posion scroll....
though it is possible, create a paper using some posion grass and then set it on fire to create a posion gas cloud...

none of them have... only genin we've seen use one was tenten... which makes me think they are pretty hard to manage...

i'm just waiting for the moment Naruto stopps being a fighting anime and becomes a true ninja thing... then the real action will begin, no more power-ups or super jutsu, just pure brain and startegy (think of Death Note, just in ninja form, that would own...), the popularity of naruto will be halved becuase all the guys who are mentally younger than 12 will stop watching, but the quaility will double itself...
and by the way, Kakashi also used a scroll, he summoned all the dogs with it...

1. its supposed to be a comedy/action anime.
2. Its *targeted* audiance INCLUDES guys who are mentally and biologically younger then 12
3. like u said, the popularity will be halved, so what would the producers gain from making such a change? despite what you may think, the studios that make these animes care about money, not quality.
ps: the only "power ups" or "super jutsu's" i remember are when lee opened the gates. and that was like, once in 100+ eps.
