    The sarutobi's

ok we have the 3rd, asuma and possibly konohamaru. All with the names Sarutobi. So, is Asuma the son of the 3rd? and Konohamaru the son of Asuma?

Cos I didn't quite catch any info in the anime or comics that they're related unless my brain went dead on me again.
I don't care who I have to fight!
If he rips my arms off, I'll kick him to death!
If he rips my legs off, I'll bite him to death!
If he rips my head off, I'll stare him to death!
And if he gouges out my eyes, I'll curse him from beyond the grave!

your brain didnt die on you. they have clarified that konohamaru is sandaimes grandson but they havent included asuma anywhere. its possible for asuma to be related to the 3rd and konohamaru tho, he wears the sign for Ho round his waist im not sure on what that means but he is the only character that does so its possible that its a way to show that he is related to the 3rd.

    RE: The sarutobi's

the answer for this question is 'unknown' so far...

Asuma and the 3rd hokage might be related, but so far, nothing has been revealed to imply so.

most people base thier belief of the 'not related' theory on the fact that Konohamaru cried to Iruka during the funural, and Asume was no where in sight, so he doesn't seem to be related to Konohamru by anyway... (note that Iruka was standing at the first row, so it's not possible that Asuma went to a 'private near the body' section).

another thing which you might want to take to your notice is the name use, so far, the sensei came after the private name (Kakashi-sensei, Gai-sensei, Sarutobi-sensei and Asume-sensei), so it's possible that Sarutobi was the 3rd's first name, and not his family name, as previously belived, and therefore, is not related to Asume.

Currently Watching: probably a show directed at 9 years old girls, lets be honest.

Plus, Asuma would probably get a lot more recognition if he's the third's son.

I guess they could be related... just not as father-son-grandson.

    RE: The sarutobi's

If Asuma was related to him, It'd be completely pointless to reveal that they're related now, Especially since THE THIRD IS DEAD. If there was any relation I'm sure it'd have been brought up already.

    hehehehe PENIS!!!! hehehhe
When man invented the bicycle he reached the peak of his attainments. Here was a machine of precision and balance for the convenience of man. And (unlike subsequent inventions for man's convenience) the more he used it, the fitter his body became. Here, for once, was a product of man's brain that was entirely beneficial to those who used it, and of no harm or irritation to others. Progress should have stopped when man invented the bicycle. ~Elizabeth West, Hovel in theHills
