I'm kind of excited to see it, really reminds me of Last Exile. Anyone else feel the same?

It reminded me of Last EXILE when I saw the ads. Just like Van Helsing's costume design reminded me of Alucard. Hmm...Hollywood getting around to stealing ideas from anime now? Meh, their movies suck in any case.

Now that you mention it, I can definitely see some similarities, based on the previews. However, I don't think this movie will even come close to matching the excellence and quality of Last Exile. A lot of movies that are coming out look really cool in the preview, and turn out to be really disappointing. A friend of mine saw Sky Captain and wasn't very impressed, so I'm not going to expect much from it.
