Einstein's lookin' pretty sexy there. Bit of a blonde bombshell.
I've seen that high-pass/low-pass filtering done before in a Popular Science magazine. Really cool.

<@Terra> he told me this, "man actually meeting terra is so fucking big", and he started crying. Then he bought me hot dogs
That Einstein pic was nice! I don't recall seeing that technique before.
This reminded me of one incident last summer when I was eating at a pizzeria with my brother, and there was an annoying wasp flying around all the time. Just when I had finished eating, the wasp landed on the table. The plates of that place happened to have a circular, continuous rim holding them enough millimeters off the table, so I placed my plate carefully on top of the wasp, leaving it trapped there. Then we left. I imagine the wasp might have become slightly angry by the time the plates were collected.Originally Posted by XanBcoo
More and more I'm losing faith in webcomics as an art medium.
“For God will not permit that we shall know what is to come... those who by some sorcery or by some dream might come to pierce the veil that lies so darkly over all that is before them may serve by just that vision to cause that God should wrench the world from its heading and set it upon another course altogether and then where stands the sorcerer? Where the dreamer and his dream?”
It's not "webcomics" it's just "comics". There have always been bad comics, the internet just allows them to be published.Originally Posted by Animeniax
Also I thought that one was kind of funny. The first part is very similar to something I've done in the past .

It's like he's teaching her computer over he shoulder while she's talking to someone else. I don't think I can talk like that. Not even IRL. I just get frustrated quickly when it comes to computers. When it comes to teaching most things really, if you don't get it the second time round

Funny when she thinks Minesweeper is some sort of a virus.

I think that's pretty normal, but what about parents on MySpace or Facebook? What do you think about those?Originally Posted by Abdula

It's always the magazine on the bottom that has the article you are looking for... And those times you think you're smart and you start from the bottom, it's always on the top.Originally Posted by Nadouku

I'll play the dumb blonde on this one and say I don't understand that one. Or at least, I don't see how it's supposed to be funny. Maybe you have to have Pokemon knowledge to understand? In which case, I don't... But does someone care to point it out for me?

haha, nah it's just a very frequently used sentence in the serie Tengen toppa gurren lagann
as a frequent reader of VG/super, I promise you that the other strips aren't funnier than that.
it's the brand of jokes that depends on the reader feeling the same way as the author towards the subject.
in this case, the joke is that all the bug-trainers (whom you could meet up to lvl30) were extremely easy to win and all had long lines about how strong they are.
well, at least they were better than the shorts trainers... "I wear shorts! Look at my Shorts! do you wear Shorts??"~battle begin~
also, the bit about the traitorous leopard got me hooked... "Don't worry Jenny, I'm on you side... hisss"
sig made by Itachi-y2k5, thanks, dude!
Currently Watching: probably a show directed at 9 years old girls, lets be honest.
You know the important distinction between Batman and me? Batman is fictional. In real life, there isn't always an alternative.
for those who dont get the reference:

No worries though... if it's from an anime that I haven't seen, then it won't be very funny to me, right? (Though I have been wanting to see Gurren)
The Jesus one actually wasn't that funny either (because it was obvious to me), but I have seen quite a few from that site that were pretty good. I spent maybe three hours looking at a bunch of them about a year ago. I can't remember any of them right now though...

I think that was just a joke about how Simon always use that line in Gurren Lagann when facing impossible odds, putting into pokemon context bug vs fire is a sure lost.Originally Posted by Death BOO Z
But yeah i do agree that the majority of VG comics rely on the reader knowing what they are referencing and even when the reader do get it, most are chuckle worthy at best.
The reference is to several things of gurren lagann, one being the kamina quote from ep1, the second is from the clip I posted, and the third one is pretty much the good guys motto in the series. But yeah they are used in context of beating impossible odds.
