Crunchyroll to Stream New Hunter x Hunter AnimeCrunchyroll announced on Friday that it will simulcast the new Hunter x Hunter television anime series on Saturdays starting October 1. Crunchyroll will simulcast the series in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, South Africa, Australia, and New Zealand on Saturdays at 8:30 pm PDT.
That's awful.
I barely got through that intro, that was like watching some generic shounen anime. The rest of the episode wasn't much better either.
So far, I've yet to see any particular reason why i should watch this when it offer nothing over the old series.
Yeah. I felt it brough absolutely no value over the old show, unless you count WS HD. Though that being said, I still might keep watching it...

I never really got to watch the original show, had some eps here and there from many different arcs.
So I might follow that one to get the full picture.
My only concern is Kurapika's voice, way too girly... and a voice I like for girls! It really bothers me.
All the things I really like to do are either illegal, immoral, or fattening. And then: Golf.
Well, I remember that when the manga was initially released in Germany, the translators actually thought he was a she. So, even though Kurapika is a boy, a girlish voice seems fitting imo.Originally Posted by David75
