I just prefer to access everything from the start menu bar, instead of going through the start menu bar and then the application itself. Firefox still works great either way.

Only one of my PCs is set to 600X800 resolution. I keep it there because I let my sisters do their homework on it and they prefer to have everything larger. That was the PC I was using when I posted my desktop.

I remember when standard desktops where 640X480.

Oh yes, monitors 640X480, there were no alpha channels for shading, and we had windows 3.1! Let the concept of those giant, blurry pixels destroy your mind. Muwahahaha!

Sorry, I fell into villainy mode there for a moment. The point is that desktops have changed greatly in relatively little time. Initially, we couldn't even use jpeg format. Everything had to be an uncompressed bitmap.

my background is a screenshot i took from hl2. yea, my desktop has a lot of crap on it, but i organized them a couple days ago. before that i had a ton of icons were WAY off my screen. i love quick launch buttons.
