Well, as promised, here are some pictures of my room where I lived this summer. I'll be here until the weekend, at which point I'm moving down the street. The nice part about this house was that it's all furnished. Starting next week though I'll need to scrounge my own furniture, so I might be sleeping on a pile of blankets on the floor for a bit until I find a free/cheap bed.

Anyhow, here's my current setup - I've got my dual monitors back! I found these both on craigslist, and they're exactly the same model, so I was pretty pleased about that.

The closet is pretty huge. If I was a kid, I would totally make it my clubhouse.

And here is the landing, with my favourite window.

This is the view out the aforementioned favourite window. That cluster of buildings you can see is downtown Vancouver. On clear days, you can see all the mountains behind the city. I'm going to miss this view.

Nice, it really captures the calmness. What's that sign on the second picture say?

    LASERS AHEAD!!

That's a very nice setup you've got there KitKat. It's got a good balance between tidiness and cozy/homeliness. The red&white walls contrast with the wooden floorboards and furniture, resulting in an interesting mix of modern and olden feel to the room. I would miss it too if I had to move out.

The laser warning sign is totally fitting for KitKat, naturally. I like it.

Looked like a nice room despite the tilted ceiling and the blaring red walls.

I went to FanExpo in Toronto this afternoon and got three new wallscrolls.

My budget for the day was originally $40. I went over the budget to get that one because I bought the other two first at a different vendor.

Does anybody have dusty rooms? Dust-free rooms? Tips on how to reduce dust?

Mine's pretty dusty IMO, and it's really annoying. I'm not near any busy roads, but the dust still builds up on my furniture.

Wow, looks comfy and homey, Sapphy. Looks like you swiped those chairs from a common room though. For shame!

For God will not permit that we shall know what is to come... those who by some sorcery or by some dream might come to pierce the veil that lies so darkly over all that is before them may serve by just that vision to cause that God should wrench the world from its heading and set it upon another course altogether and then where stands the sorcerer? Where the dreamer and his dream?

I don't see a single plant. So sad.

But it looks otherwise decently comfy like Ani said.

@Sapphi: Very homely indeed. Whatever happened to all those wallscroll requests? I haven't seen a stove-top kettle in ages! It has a rather nostalgic feel.

@korre: Does your basement get much airflow? Regardless, I see you've set your self up a very enjoyable getup.

    @sapphire, @Nadouku, @Penner: Thx!

@Buffalobiian: It does get airflow, only not as much as one would like, can't sleep with my door closed, air gets stuffy And as for the getup, Investments for a future apartment. Painted the room myself
