Is there no alternative by to put that screen so close towards the edge of the desk? It looks..uncomfortable.
If it's not Isuzu-chan Mii~
Elaborate uncomfortable.

Dang, that's a lot of games you got there. I barely have like half of what you got.
I am training in the shadows.
Currently playing: All of your games, probably.

I still don't get what you mean. If you mean that it looks as if it may fall, then no the base of the monitor that carries the full weight of it actually rests completely on the desk.
If you mean the way I tilted it, then well I like it tilted, makes it easier to look at.
@Nad
I guess that is what it means to build up a collection ;P.

I meant the TV then. I thought it was a monitor.

How do you like the two monitor setup? I've tried before with two different monitors and my hdtv. I just had no use for it and went back to the old setup.
Well they are both monitors >_>. And no I hate having a screen really far away from me, what's the point of that.
@lucifus
I can't go back to single setup, dual monitors is just fantastic.

Wow ds, nice spread, though about the same as before? Have you considered trading in all of those older games for some credit for new ones? Or do you not have Game Stop stores in your area, or just no interest in selling the games? I traded in 8 games for $200, which I used to buy 4 more games. Pretty sweet deal.
I just bought a house, so I'll take pictures of my room (computer room) once it's all set up.
“For God will not permit that we shall know what is to come... those who by some sorcery or by some dream might come to pierce the veil that lies so darkly over all that is before them may serve by just that vision to cause that God should wrench the world from its heading and set it upon another course altogether and then where stands the sorcerer? Where the dreamer and his dream?”
Nah, I swore to myself that I would not sell anything games related again, I'm just going to keep building and building my collection.
I was bummed that I sold my dreamcast ( which I rebought) and I'm still bummed I sold most of my xbox games ( that's why there are only like 4 in the picture obscured by the black/golden gundam, i had 28 ;'[ ).
Anyway get with the pictures already ;].

Want to buy them back? >_>Originally Posted by darkshadow

Is it for sentimental value or do you play them now and then?Originally Posted by darkshadow
I have to actually close the sale and move in before I can decorate and take some pictures. Could be a month or so.
What was that, a month ago?Originally Posted by Archangel

Well both I guess, and because I just want to build a library of entertainment, thats why I buy even pc games at retail, Steam and such are nice and all, but it lacks the physical factor that I appreciate.

I just moved out of my apartment. If any of you saw the pictures I posted of my room last year, you can guess it was a pretty big ordeal cleaning up and getting everything out of there.
I have some serious pack-rat tendencies. I didn't want to throw a lot of stuff away because I thought they might be useful in the future or I had some sentimental attachment to them. In the end I had to recycle it all:
367 water bottles
I actually had more protein powders and mass gainers than this, but loads were thrown away by my mom and ex-girlfriend:
I wanted to build a cashew tin robot. This was all I could manage:
No, none of these were stacked throughout the year. They were strewn around my room or piled below my desk. I am horrible .
<@Terra> he told me this, "man actually meeting terra is so fucking big", and he started crying. Then he bought me hot dogs
Wow, it looked like it could probably last anyone a year or two. Looks tidied up, at least.

Haha, the bottles made me think Xan's building an army of bottles. In South Australia, you get a 5c refund per bottle (10c for big ones) at collection sites. Did you get anything for yours?
If it's not Isuzu-chan Mii~
Yeah, I vaguely thought I'd be able to do that, but I had a table in my car and 2 hours to move out so I just put them in the recycling bin.Originally Posted by Buffalobiian

Over here you get 40 cents from 1.5-2 liter bottles, 15 c from beverage cans, 10-20 c from smaller bottles, and 10 c from the myriad wine and other alcohol bottles from the alcohol stores. So, it's not really economically wise to store them overly much (because you may have paid even 40 cents for the container alone when purchasing the drink). Although I do have a bunch of 1.5l soft drink bottles I have kept aside for my automatic plant watering systems and a bunch of wine bottles I use to store mead when I make it.Originally Posted by Buffalobiian
Wow Xan....just wow. That sounds like it was a pretty monumental cleanup, if you unearthed so many empty bottles and containers.
I should probably snap a picture of my room before I move again. I've been moving once or twice a year for the past few years, so I haven't bothered to update my pics in this thread recently.
