Damn, I joined this convo late. I would have liked to be a part of it. But anyway, everything I would have said has been covered by dazzz so it doesn't matter...
I also agree about the rock/scissors/paper thing, it does sometimes work but it's not solid enough to be used as a concrete theory.

I just made an impartial comment from the point of view of an observer of a discussion, that's all. Do you really think that makes me an incompetent mod? That's funny. Why take it so personally?
I'm just of the opinion that dazzz presented his arguement more effectively... and I was commenting so. And I'll reiterate, there's no reason for me to join in on the conversation because I would only be repeating what dazzz said. Is that so hard to understand? I wasn't making any personal attacks like you seem to think I was, I was simply stating the opinion of an impartial observer. And the term 'owned' is part of net culture, but I'm sure you know that anyway.

haha ..what are you talking about?who said you can't fun? is saying getting owned way to have fun? im sure there is lot of way to have fun other than that. oh how about i liked his Argument better oh no you wouldnt think that.how can competent mod like you would think that?. sorry for putting higher standard on a MOD.. but its my mistake.. and your reasoning is you can't have fun?..lol ...your funny..

Last time I checked MODs were people and had points of views and believes for their own. Just because a mod doesn't like you, or has a different point of view doesn't mean they are incompetent. The have the same merit as everyone else. A MOD's job is to moderate the forum, and not be unbiased to particular points of view on the material. Only if the material goes against the rules of the forum can they be unbiased. They have choice on what to like and what not to like. It's as simple as that. Have you been banned? No? Then they are doing their job without bias, because if they weren't you would be banned. So he is competent at being A Mod.

this is naruto's way for testing his opponent (and only way he knows how to start a fight) he runs in fists flying and when he gets knocked back he finds a flaw in there defense!Originally posted by: Hakeem_21

Naruto doesnt always run agianst his oppnent for example in the fight against Gaara he didnt just run against Gaara,he used 100 bunshin to hurt him before he 1000 years of pain. By the way it was one of few times he used his bunshin right.

I don't understand people saying "I had higher hopes for a mod" and things like that. Is there a common book on how mods should behave? Mods are people just like you and me. But they have shown merit and ability to moderate a place and keep it better (or more "clean") for the majority to enjoy. Raven doesn't agree with you because you are wrong. How that makes him a "less respectable mod" is beyond me. Then again, I assume it's just the little kid running out of retorts...

True. But Shizune and her group were following, and I know they went home to help the injured, but the fact that they were there means that it's physically possible for another team to be around.
But yeah, I agree that probably nobody will turn up because of the arc's general structure so far. I'm still hoping for Itachi though! Oh well, we can dream.
