I dont agree with incest anyway, not that Im totally against it, just that its something weird in my opinion. It might become something normal like homosexuals, but I think Ill never get used to the idea.
The ending in elfen lied was the best ending it could have. I loved it loved it loved it.
I doubt it will ever become normal, because no amount of public acceptation changes the fact it multiplies the statistical risk of getting genetically defective offspring. I bet that's the original reason it became frowned upon, even if our ancestors had only a very vague idea of genetics.Originally posted by: KaosSinner

I know that inbreeding causes genetically defective offspring.Originally posted by: Kraco

However, love knows no such boundaries
You may be right. These are really exceptional cases anyway. I dont think it happens very often so its not a big deal. Ive heard of many stories in which two people love each other and after some time they find out they are far cousins or something. Dont think it really happens in real life, but stories like those are quite sad. Even if you become a couple, adopting is always an option.
Well, in Elfen Lied's case, we might say that Kota and Nyu's dalliance might have produced far more weird offspring than Kota and Yuka's!
Lol. interesting point. But the story ends quite nicely, although you can consider it unfinished if you think about it. Who will be koutas wife? coz its not clear at all. I dont want to spoil so I wont mention anything specificOriginally posted by: Kraco
