Lucy obviously...
though he feels affection for his cousin
so, are there any news of a sequel or ova of some sort. it seems obvious that it was lucy on the door. one more question though. the horns they have give them the power? so if she looses the horns then she will be normal?
EDIT: I was in anidb and it said something about a 14 eps?

I don't think they do, remember that doctor had em too but had no powers.
i think he didnt have powers because he was male...
and yeah i do think that she is powerless without her horns...
it would be nice to see a sequel or something
if she were powerless without her horns, then there is no way that she would've survived being shot at while surrounded by all those guys, which would mean that's not her at the door. The horns are just part of her bone structure, I don't think that's where she get's the power from, but I really don't care, this was a great series.
I wonder if her losing the horns ties into when she and Kouta first met as children, and she explained how she hated her horns?
looks like its true about what they say, there is going to be a special 14 episode in the dvd. that's good. i mean, only 13 episode long and so many unanswered question

Yes, there is an episode 14 scheduled for a May 25th release. I believe it'll be packed with the last DVD for the regular series.
According to some people at AnimeSuki, the episode is called "In the Falling Rain" and it is supposed to show us the time Lucy spent in the Diclonius laboratory.
And for the ending, I think the directors should really just let it be. It might not be a concrete ending, but those kinda things are best left alone. I'd much rather know of the time that passed between Lucy as a child, and Lucy held within the lab.
Ohh, so you mean its a prequel of Elfen Lied. That would be interesting but still I wanted them to go a little further in the ending. Its obviously Lucy at the door but I wanted to see how they reacted.

I heard rumors that Ep. 14 is a Nana special thing. Guess that was wrong then.
And I still think the ending is fine the way it is. If they show who's at the door, most likely Nyu, then they would create even more problems for the story such as how did she survive and what happened to Lucy. The clock/music box scene imo was a great way to end the show because it strongly hints that Nyu is at the door and Lucy is no more, while at the same time makes the viewer doubt that Lucy is truly gone.
Today! I am a jounin!!
oh yea, and I think its Lucy not Nyu cause well she got her memory back permanently. So Its her but without the intent to kill everyone in site.

Actually, from what others say about the manga, especially in the point in the manga that corresponds to the end of episode 13, the figure behind the door is NYUU, not Lucy. At that time, Lucy obviously has her horns shot off (and chipped by Mariko), so that explains the lack of horns on the figurers head.
However, as the series continues on in the books, Nyuu grows another pair of horns, ultimately bringing out Lucy again.
In the anime, it makes a lot of sense that it is Lucy/Nyuu behind the door. The dog is happy to see the figure, and the clock is pretty symbolic.
Edit - episode 14 and Nana gaiden are two different things.
Reeeally. So can I get a manga link then. I guess its okay if its Nyu. I just don't want to see the cousin incest thing ^_^Originally posted by: Hotsuma

It's implied by the final scene. The music box (symbolizing Lucy) stops playing and the clock (symbolizing Nyu) starts ticking.
I didn't get that at first, and was like what the? But upon second viewing and some serious pondering it made perfect sense Originally posted by: BOARD_of_command

Yeah, I like that scenario too. But you need to remember. Dicloniuses' horns do grow back. So no matter what, Lucy will ALWAYS be there, or will always return. Obviously, because Lucy has two brains.Originally posted by: BOARD_of_command
