Still, could someone explain that whole diclonius looking into the mind of Kurama? What did they do to him? And why did he come an agent to stop them because of that? It looks like he can't or they won't kill him.

Unless I'm misintepreting everything, Lucy is the only one who can reproduce in the normal way humans do, she is the Queen, and we can assume she has been infecting lots of people across the country. Sterile diclonius, called Silpelit, can pass the virus too. From what the series has shown us, they jab one of their vectors into any human brain, and infect it with a virus. This virus ensures that all children from the infected are also sterile dicloniuses (dicloni?) Kurama and the other guy were both hit, and thus both had diclonius children.

The director said he was trying to track down the source of the virus, so that is how we can assume they captured and did all the things they did to Lucy.

Btw, is Nana a third generation diclonius? It appears that the "good" doctor killed all the third generations were born, but the second generations were the ones killing. Nana didn't want to kill everyone on instinct like the others did.

They said that 35 was the only 3rd generation they kept alive. But Nana was definitely a 3rd too... (Lucy, the one that infected Kurama, Nana) Either the scientist guy doesn't know Nana is still alive, which seems a little odd since he's releasing 35 to kill Nana (eps 9), or the "generations" don't work in the way we think they should.

i think she gave him the virus when she did that thing. and thats why his baby was also a diclonius

Eurasian, I don't think that girl was Lucy. They all looked alike, and I think it was mentioned that they all came from the same area at the same time. Lucy is probably the queen, since she is the only one that can actually reproduce. Everyone else is like her drone carrying genetic material to spread around, it seems. I think that the experiments killed a lot of the diclonius. That is why the director ordered to kill new diclonius that are born because there were too many of them.

The canon-balled diclonius died. The one shot in the head died. I think the one where the police was at also died (shot to death). They all look so much alike. I think Lucy has the darkest red color hair, however.

that was all lucy i think. she never died, they said that she was faking her development thats why the bullets didnt work on her. and lucy isnt the queen the one in that big sealed chamber probably is.

No, completely wrong. Two of the ones in eps 10 died. Lucy was not any of them.

35, "the one in the chamber" is a third generation diclonius, its a direct quote from the eps. Lucy is certainly not. She is the only one who can reproduce like normal human beings.

#35 is scarier than lucy. she's the "ultimate diclonius." how the hell is lucy gonna beat 26 vectors w/ her 4 vectors (and limited to 2 meter radius). even w/ nana's help, it wouldn't be enough. nana has...what 2 or 4? TWENTY-SIX!!!!

you know what i dnt get... was the fact the daughter turned into a diclonius when the wife was already pregnant wit the kid, before the other diclonius infected kurama with the virus... so how did the virus transfer to the wife even though she was already pregnant with a normal baby.
(haha pretty confusing isnt it? it will probably take a few ppl to get what im trying to say)

We don't exactly know the timeline, of when Lucy infected Kuruma and when Nana was born. Probably the time Lucy infected Kuruma was probably 9 months or a year before Nana was even conceived. They just glanced through it.

But it all seems that Lucy is the queen however. And THe 26 hand monster would probably be taken down by Nana. Because maybe she has longer range.

But it seems that everytime Lucy gives people the virus, the virus is slowly evolving, like the 26 hands monster, the third generation of it's kind. Quite scary ain't it?

I can't believe this Kouta and the cousin (Incestrous one!), is still totally oblivious about Lucy. Hahah.

Lucy wasn't the one to infect Kuruma. The one who infected him had her head blown off by the General Director's Son.

Hmm. With them and all their pink/red hair, it's hard to tell which one's a normal diclonous and which one's Lucy. Although I like to think all of them are Lucy. And that the bullet to her head didn't quite kill her.

no, that was all lucy, they didnt die. after she gets shot with the connonball they say, "same as last time" meaning it didnt kill her. and than after she gets shot by that guy he says "she must have been faking her development" meaning that that was the same person who got shot by the cannonball.

No. You are still wrong. It was NOT Lucy. IF it didn't die each time, it STILL wasn't Lucy. It was the one they captured at the apartment building. Which was NOT LUCY.

"same as last time" just means they have hit her before in the same manner. "Faking her development" means when she was gettting hit by cannonballs, she wasn't showing all her strength, though it does mean it was the same one, it STILL doesn't mean it was Lucy.

That doesn't change the fact that one was shot in the head, through it mind you, not grazed like Lucy in eps 1, with armor piercing bullets that "apparently she can't deflect." THAT ONE IS DEAD, Lucy has not been captured yet.

They said in the eps that they are still searching for the queen, who in earlier eps the director stated blatantly was Lucy. They had not found Lucy, they do not even know who she is.

Even listen to the seiyuu. Young Lucy is different from young Nana, who is different from that one that infected Kurama. They are not the same people.



Please don't make me post again on such an obvious issue.

Anime.Fin dropped subbing Elfen Lied in English.
Their encoder, Mentar, has stated that they will now only translate it with Finnish subtitles - they are Anime.FIN[nish] - afterall.

I doubt it... that's probably BS... i think all of their releases up to this point have been english subtittled.. (maybe there is an exception somewhere)

I recently went onto their irc channel, this is absolutely true (to a point). Elfen Lied has been dropped by anime.fin. The quote was something like "EL dropped. We were betrayed by our encoder, he has been summarily executed."

Eurasian I think they just did that to show what is happening to the Diclonius and what they are doing. Not really for any specific reason.
