Same here...I agree with you on the bit about Nana, the unpredictability seems fairly similar to Gantz in that way which I found unpredictable as well...

I like the dual personality thing with Lucy/Nyuu, both personalities are pretty cool, I just finished watching Samurai Deeper Kyo so its straight from one anime with such a character and then immediately onto this series...

I'm tempted to search around for the manga which the series is based on, I probably want to finish watching the series though before I read it...

Can't wait for ep5 to come out...

Man the ending of episode 5 was messed up. Wasn't expecting such a sudden ending, I hope the next episode has a bit more action to it.

this whole sereis is messed up. In the first five minutes of the episode we see what eight, nine people die in a shower of blood and body parts. this is going to be one mind fuck of series and should expect anyhting and everything to happen. I look forward to everly last minute of this series.

It appeared as though she used one of her "arms" to reach into lucy's head and apply pressure to her brain, I'm guessing that she did something to the part of the brain that controls the arms. Also the ending to 5 was good but sudden. I mean the guy is talking then bam his head gets taken off and it cuts right to the ending song.

What an ending to ep 5, indeed! So sudden and suprising... I have to admit it was true to the show, and had quite an effect.

The Mayu story on what happened between her parents, sigh, but unfortunately, these messed up things do happen in real life. Her parents are both messed up. I really would never of thought an anime would bring up that type of situation, but wow, this series keeps on surprising me one after another.

I wonder who will die first, Mayu or her parents? It would be so sad if Mayu dies... I mean, she has suffered so much already, and I really feel for her.

I can't wait for the next episode! Let the emotional turmoil continue!

Ep 5 was messed up...such a sad (and unpleasant) subject for Mayu's part of the storyline...had a nice ending where Lucy did what had to be done [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img].

It was a truly disturbing episode, but it kept up the theme of family hurting each other. I hope that the series can keep up the good work.

I thought that it was poetic justice that the professor was told that he was an evolutionary dead end and then eliminated.

Aeon, I think that Nana was trying to hit the pineal gland that was mentioned by that professor in ep 5 that is suppose to control those arms.
