That's what i meant by it being a bit of a spoiler. I've only seen the anime not the manga. Now I've read that Narutofan thing I understand what he's talking about but I still don't know whether it's true cos for me it hasn't occured yet!

It is obvious Naruto will. If he doesn't I will be VERY surprised. He will most likely pull off what he did with Gama Bunta, he will ride it all on when he shows Tsunade and do it, or as somone previously said [a N00b in another thread, lol] He will do it somehow his own way. Also, obviously what will happen is Tsunade will see that Naruto is authentic, not just some kid with the dream of being Hokage. Therefor she will not take Orochimaru's bet, and instead accept the title of Hokage cause she has faith in Naruto for the future.

I think Naruto will win the bet, if for no other reason than because it's against Tsunade... given her less than impressive history with gambling. Naruto will master the technique, not because of any abundance of skill, but because Tsunade's luck is simply that bad.
maybe because she always loses she bet against naruto to master the technique in a week. that way the odds are FOR naruto to do it. meh its a stupid theory from a stupid person [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]
i originally thought naruto will lose so he won't be cocky all the time, but he'll be close to mastering the rasengan so tsunade will be nice anyways. but listening to everyone else's opinion, it would make a lot of sense for naruto to master it. he does tend to surprise ppl.

oops! What you expect from a newbie poster. Anyways. About Naruto being cocky. When is he cocky? Only in time that don't matter. When it comes down to it, like the time with Gaara, Naruto wasn't rude at all to Sasuke. What i mean is that he didn't rub his new found powers in Sasuke's face. In the quiet time, the times of story building, Naruto, i believe, will still say "I can't lose to Sasuke". But thats just me, and i could be wrong.

lol i forgot to post this but the main reason i think naruto will win the bet is because Tusande always loses and that Naruto has the samn dream of becoming Hokage that Dan, and here littler brother had. What I don't understand why Tusande is even considering healing Orochimaru's arms, both Dan and here little brother (i dont know his name) wanted to protect the village and would never want to be returned back to life and see if get destroyed by Orochimaru.... another thing though.... I have never read the manga, but i suspect orochimaru is going to play a greater role on in the series, i mean think about it they wouldn't do much with his character anymore after his arms are gone because he can't fight so right now i think him asking tusande is just filler ep's to fullfill a greater topic development....
