    mIRC

    I just recently got mIRC and am learning how to use it...however everytime i go into a room...i am the only one in there...i dont know if i have to forward the ports or what...can someone help me

    just in case.... my router is a linksys WRT54G

    Well, I'm not really familiar for IRC but you can in fact port forward for it. The port forwarding process will allow Identd and DCC work. Here is a step by step guide on port forwarding a Linksys router for IRC. If you need it, here is a step by step guide on port forwarding for your specific router (I'm guessing you have version 1).
