Im looking for the second Ninja Scroll movie.

I have recently watched the 13 episode show and i watched the first movie couple of months ago.

Ok thanks i read somewhere in gotwoot forums that there were two Ninja Scroll movies so i assumed that it was alredy made.

What you heard was probably (dunno whether it is actually a sequel or not but I was told it was) Ninja Resurrection, which is a two part OVA, 'The revenge of Jubei' and 'Hellspawn'. It is made by different people than the Ninja Scroll movie and from what I've been told its awful...I downloaded it ages ago but still haven't watched it yet...

I don't know. I said in my last post I haven't seen it, I just said what I was told...besides I didn't know the guys surname cos I've only seen the first film once or twice...and the first 2 or 3 eps of the series bored me when I watched them...though I guess I might try the series again some time...

I've just searched the animenewsnetwork and found this quote which says that it is considered by some to be a sort of sequel, but that it isn't actually related to the film.

Its okay i just read in a Ninja Scroll forum that Resurrection has nothing to do with Ninja Scroll .


You are not the only to think that Resurrection is connected with Ninja Scroll cause i have read many angry replys from Ninja Scroll fans who thought that Resurrection was a new Ninja Scroll movie.

Judging from the review I read it seems that ADV wanted to market it as if it was related to Ninja Scroll just so to try and make it sell...

I imagine a lot of people were angry, everyone who has seen it seems to say that its crap...

I hope that the new Ninja Scroll movie comes out soon and that is atleast as good as the Tv show who was pretty good.

I think it comes out in 2005... at least that's what has been set for in anidb...
