Did anyone download the Inu Yasha movie and never had an MKV before?
I got it to run once, and there was no sound. Tried reinstalling the three packs, and it's not doing anything to work now. Help.

You should ask in the support section... but:
The first time I used mkv was from a group anime-legion
i went to there webpage and downloaded their recommended codec pack and the recomended player The Core Media Player...
www.anime-legion.net the download section...
There's probably a cleaner and better way of doing it...

Try using the Matroska Pack. This pack allows playback for mkv files and much more including video encoded with divx, xvid, and ffdshow. Hope I could help.

I got it to work, ended up downloading the Core player... I like it, it's not bad.
The movie is niiiiiiiiiiice, and I am not the biggest fan of the show.
