Help with Bittorrent
Well, are you completly sure that you have port forwarded ports 6881-6999 (Ports for Bittorrent) correctly? If you have doubts, tell me the model number of your Linksys router and I can give you a step by step guide on how to port forward. For your Norton Firewall, here is what you should do. Open up Norton Security and double click "Personal Firewall." Then click the "Program Control" tab. After that click the add button. Look for the .exe file of your Bittorrent Client (It should be under Program Files). Then click open. The window then should say "Internet Access Permit All" next to your Bittorrent client. Click OK, and you should be done with that. Hope I could help.
EDIT: Saw your PM right after I posted. Here is a step by step guide on port forwarding in your Windows XP Firewall (I suggest you only port forward ports 6881 to 6889. If you tried to forward the whole range, it would take forever. Plus, that was the original range that Bittorrent used untill the newer version came out, then they extended it.
